Kept having a battle with housekeeping who took away my card to control the electricity in the room. This had negative consequences by draining my computer battery and knocking me off the internet when I powered down. That led to 30 minutes working the IT helpdesk to fix the consequential problems.

This is a grand old GWR hotel that has been fully brought up to 2017 standards. Generously sized rooms. Convenient to Paddington Station and the Tube. Many great non-chain restaurants and parks plus downtown and theatre within walking distance. There is a concierge. No negatives!

Overpriced and average quality. No free in-room wifi. Breakfast beliw 4 stars hotels London standards.

Annoyed that there was no free wifi in the room if reservation was thru Orbitz! Any good hotel should have free room wifi. Also, we asked for late check out (1:00) and they said ok, but when we got back to our room at noon the keys didn't work and we had to get them reset! Room itself was nice, tho, and perfect for the train station.

Very central location in London to all of our events and conveniently right above at Paddington station.

Room spacious & comfy. but no Wifi is a minus, fridge not working... but they replaced with a personal one

Typical Hilton:comfortable, clean, helpful personal. we usually sign in for the lounge use - always available internet, drinks, snacks. The best of the hotel - location: 15 min express train from Heathrow, underground across the street, walking distance to the Hyde park and sight seeing bus stops, quiet at night

Nicely renovated rooms, quite spacious for London. Staff is professional and efficient. Would definitely recommend vs one of the other Bayswater hotels, if not in the lobby I didn't feel at all like I was in the middle of Paddington station! Location super convenient particularly if taking Heathrow Express.

when I checked in my room was great but air conditioning was broken. the second room was terrible, the bed pulled out of the wall. no room etc. I have stayed there before and it was a good experience, this time was not.

I stayed in 7 different hotels while on business in the UK and this one was by far the best. Friendly staff, perfect location, big comfortable room. The only downfall was parking my rental car was a bit of a hassle since you had to park it at Paddington station car park and was quite a hike from the hotel.

I've stayed here twice in one week so I was in more than one room. It's a large hotel and the experience was consistent on both visits; rooms are clean, comfortable and feel 'new' despite being in an older building. The hotel is literally connected to Paddington station which has food, stores, and TWO different stops on the Tube (subway) so you can go nearly anywhere without walking far. Best of all, it's CHEAP compared to an equivalent hotel around central London with 'american' sized beds and bathrooms. would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is very handy if you have to catch a flight since it's in Paddington Station. You can just walk to the Heathrow Express in a couple of minutes. I have stayed at this hotel before and it's getting a little tired. The mattress has seen better days. The rooms are large which is rare for London but the neighborhood is very touristy and it makes you feel as if you could be anywhere. I wouldn't stay more than a couple of days at this hotel.

Rooms are comfortable and clean. Great location for getting to and from Heathrow. Only complaint is that the Internet connection could be faster at times.

Came to London for the Holidays. Arrived on Christmas day and was lucky to stay at this hotel because the only public transportation running that day was a bus that stopped at Paddington station. Hotel was ok for the price and location. The carpet could be changed, a little frayed on some parts. Enjoyed the hotel amenities: gym and restaurants. The only drawback is that they do not have free WIFI. It is rather expensive and so I opted to use the internet cafes outside the hotel.

Hotel is right next to the train station where the Heathrow Express drops you off. Hotel was clean, included a free breakfast each morning. Easy to use the underground which was right across the street. Staff was great, but was a little difficult when I rejected them charging me for movies I didn't purchase. It turned out that the people before us used it, but after continued discussion with Sunday manager,he finally realized the error and changed my bill. If you like a good walk, the walk from the hotel to the Zoo will really give you a nice feel about the non tourists areas of London.

Returning to the U.S. from two weeks of driving through Scotland, we decided to spend our last night in the U.K. at the Hilton in Paddington Station. What a great choice it was! We were able to fly back from Edinburgh, catch the Heathrow Express and, fifteen minutes later, arrive at our hotel. With the Underground Station located right there, it was convenient to make our way across town to a favorite dinner spot on the Tube. The next morning, having spent a terrifically comfortable night in a spotlessly clearn and well-appointed room, we had a leisurely breakfast and made our way effortlessly and quickly (via the Heathrow Express again) to the airport for our flight home. It couldn't have been better. Between the comfort of the HIlton and its convenient rail access to Heathrow, our long flight was made much more bearable by our well-rested state and the complete avoidance of any pre-flight ground transportation issues. The Hilton London Paddington will definitely be a stop for us on any and all future U.K. trips!

The hotel was in a great location, and the included breakfast was delicious and provided a wide variety of foods to eat. It's also nice to stay in a hotel with sufficient toiletries. The mini-bar prices were the most expensive I've seen yet - definitely not worth it.

I stay at the Paddington Hilton whenever I can afford it. It's on 3 tube lines and a major rail line, and lots of stores and food nearby. What's best though are the rooms. Compared to much of London where a double bed is crammed into a near single room, here, you get an "almost american" sized double with a nice sit down desk. Better yet, the water regulates in the shower...lots of refit hotels (great ones) just don't have the plumbing right.

Surprisingly quiet. Surprisingly roomy (for London). Excellent quality accomodations. Extremely convenient if using Paddington Station.

The reception staff took a very long time to acknowledge us. Although we arrived at check-in time, we had to wait over 1 hour until our room was ready, and they didn't even offer us a complementary drink a the bar. Doormen/concierge were police and helpful. The appearance of the room was quite messy and several stains/rips were on the bedding and floor. Did not appreciate housekeeping waking us up at 7:30 am each morning requesting to clean the room. Interrupted our entire morning.

Dear Guest, Thank you for choosing to stay at Hilton London Paddington and thank you also for taking a few minutes to leave your review following your visit. Please be informed that free, unrestricted in-room standard WiFi is only available for HHonors members who book their stay with us. Free WiFi is also available in all common areas of the Hotel, which you need to request a password for from reception or concierge. Please also know that it is an automated system which activates and deactivates the room keys and that would be the reason you had to go back to Reception in order to activate the room key again. Apologies for the inconvenience caused. We trust that you enjoyed your overall stay and had a memorable trip in London. We do look forward to welcoming you back to the Hotel again in the future. Yours sincerely Alex Guest Relations
