Great stay, perfect for weekend stays

Room compact, clean and tidy, exactly what you need for a weekend stay. Facilities are brilliant, free hot drinks machine on ground floor was a good touch, and water refill points throughout the hotel were great. Brilliant location for transport links and easy access to Covent Garden and the theatres. Staff were friendly and helpful. Really enjoyed our stay.

Great staff, hotel didn't live up to expectations

I booked this hotel for a night in London for me and my wife. We did also have a nice view of the Lincoln's Inn Fields from our room, and it was very pleasant to sit outside the front of the hotel in the evening. The staff were all pleasant and friendly and its location was pretty central. However, it was not at all what I'd expected from the pictures. I paid extra for a room upgrade, but I shouldn't have bothered. Admittedly, parts of the hotel are going through a refurb - what looks to have been the business centre, for instance. It was a very hot weekend in London, the duvet on the bed was feather, so you can imagine how warm that was. With no top sheet, our only options were to sleep with no cover or under the heavy duvet. Additionally, the air con cooled the entrance to the room very effectively, but unfortunately no other part.

Lovely hotel

Lovely area within walking distance to most London attractions. Near Holborn tube station and 20 minute walk to Elizabeth Line. Lots of eateries nearby and some attached to the hotel, of which we did not partake. Free water dispenser in corridor. Free yoga mat and workouts on the tv. Very fast check in check out with excellent staff. Free hot drinks downstairs all day and night. TV placed in a slightly odd way in the bedroom so difficult to see the full screen from the right side of the bed. Room was quiet and bed was very comfortable.
