We’ve stayed here a few times now and find it good value for money. The staff are really friendly and helpful. Location is excellent, a few minutes’ walk from Earls Court Underground station, with a direct connection to Heathrow on the Piccadilly line, and plenty of places to eat nearby. The rooms at the back are nice and quiet. It must be said, however, that they are very small. We had to walk sideways around the bed. Nonetheless everything you need is provided - a miracle of design fitting everything into the second room we had on this visit to England. Everything was clean and fresh and in good order, except the hairdryer which was in danger of overheating as soon as it was turned on. We had the continental breakfast, which was reasonable value for money and included cheese, ham and salad ingredients. A cooked breakfast was also available. The Wi-Fi was very fast and reliable. There’s a computer in the lounge area if needed and reception will print a few pages at no cost. We would certainly stay here again.
I would definitely say this hotel is more expensive than what you get, probably because everything in London is overpriced. The people at the reception desk were very nice, and the hotel was conveniently located super close to a train station, but that's probably where the positives end. The street was very loud at all hours of the night with people yelling etc. The lift was very slow, but if taking the stairs it was a bit of a maze, trying to find the next flight. My biggest problem is that the hotel needs to be updated and refit BADLY. It is extremely dated, and sometimes it was hard to tell if something was dirty or just old. The bathroom door had a huge dent in it from constantly smashing into the sink, and the wooden furniture was old and flaky. So, not a terrible place to stay, but not really worth the amount paid.
Location good and very close to tube station. Rooms were incredibly hot despite having window open. Breakfast was edible but had much better in other hotels. Orange juice was very watered down and was just coloured water. On a positive note, reception staff were very friendly and helpful.
Recently stayed for two nights. Hotel clean and reception staff helpful and friendly. Room small but bed comfortable and bathroom good. Kettle and hairdryer in room. Room faced onto back garden and was lovely and quiet. Two minute walk to the tube and close to local shops and restaurants. Breakfast was good and “full English” very tasty. Waiting staff very friendly and efficient. 2 small courtyard gardens available to guests. Had nice welcoming feel to it. If you want modern hotel with lots of facilities go elsewhere. If looking for a friendly, clean budget hotel with nice staff and easy access to local sights I can recommend this hotel.
So close to Earl's Court Train station and Jollibee Fastfood... that's what we love about this hotel, otherwise, we had an ok stay, I know it's not an upscale hotel and we probably just paid for the location, but the rooms are a bit too dated, I tried to have a bath once and after filling up the bath and soak for a few minutes we received a call from reception telling us that our bathroom is leaking all over the place (internally). Not complaining though, I guess we just get what our money's worth in London standards.
A quiet hotel, room very small (twin) but ok for two nights. Close to metro and several restaurants, good connection to Heathrow. Reception open 24 hours which was lucky as we were delayed. Bed and shower ok.
I stayed for a night for an important conference the day after. The location is great as it was just 4 min walk from Earls Court tube station. The room is quite small but functional for my need. The drain in the shower however drains very slowly. If you dont shower quick enough it will overflow onto the floor and then to the rooms downstairs. The mugs werent clean. There were visible still mouth markings on it! Not ideal really. This actually put me off. This needs addressing please.
Nice best Western budget hotel in a great location. Walking from the tube is only a couple of minutes and there are plenty of local gastro pubs and restaurants in easy reach. We stayed for a weekend and had a room at the front of the hotel with a bay window. It was a little noisy on Saturday night in the early hours but nothing that would prevent us from staying here again as the room was a great size and the bed very comfortable. Shower was good and strong- nice hot water with decent toiletries and fluffy towels. Breakfast was good - fruit and cereals etc on a buffet with hot food cooked to order with good service. We will be staying here again the next time we come down to the city.
We stayed for 5 days and we were very impressed as we knew we had booked budget but certainly exceeded our expectations. Very clean very welcoming staff and good facitlies within hotel as there is a restraunt & bar also 24hr reception and room service. Excellent location only a few minutes walk to Earls Court tube and plenty of shops, places to eat around hotel. We will definitely stay again.
Friendly and helpful staff. I stayed in a single room on the 2nd floor which was quite spacious and nicely furnished. We didn’t eat here so I can’t comment on the food. The hotel is in a really nice area and was close to everything we needed. I would stay here again.
