Stayed for one night for work purposes Pros - Good location (right opposite Green lanes retail park & near Finsbury park) Bed was soft Cons - Under the bed by the wall was a Condom wrapper and tons of dust. Obviously not hoovered under the bed. Half drank small bottle of apple juice in fridge left behind and half empty shower gel left in shower Fridge didn't chill drinks Decoration v shabby, bathroom seemed dirty & odd old exposed pipes Linens were old. One pillow per person. TV had no signal at all V hot room & no fan supplied. Too noisy outside (police sirens) to keep window open Have to climb tons of stairs to get to all the rooms This seems the sort of hotel you can rent for 20 minutes with an escort. Everything seems grubby(hence the empty condom wrapper under the bed). I am just grateful there were no bedbugs. Avoid unless absolutely desperate.

Booked twin room but got upgraded to triple.very spacious and well mantained. Location is bout 20 mins on tube from centre which. Has loads of shops and resturants nearby. Also not far from The mall in wood green. Im hoping to go back for the weekend again in summer and would look into booking this hotel again.

Stayed here as I went to a festival nearby, woke up slightly hungover the next day, just wanted a shower and to freshen up for a day of sight seeing, no running water. No shower, no flushing toilet, no running taps. Thank god I filled my water bottle up the night before as I had a little something to at least brush my teeth with. When I told the receptionist she said "I know". No apology, no compensation, no bottles of water given, no alternate options offered, appalling! Had I read these reviews beforehand I would not have booked this hotel, just another hotel nearby cancelled me hours before I checked in. So overall don't stay in this area! Pay extra and stay in a nice hotel with flushing toilets and warm showers.

My experince with "Beaconsfield Hotel" can be called extremely unfortunate. Due to the balated flight I have reached the "hotel" at 23.15 and I found it shut and dark. The administrattion was warned that I could be late. I have prepaid 2 noights stay at this establishment and knowing the hotel cancellation policy I have expected at least the second night refund. The management has shown extreme greed and lack of any consideration and my 128 punds have not been refunded in entirety nor in part. BE WARNED: this establishment has no night reception and it is noit a hotel but some guest rooms abovet the noisy pub on the street corner.

Booked to stay on 5th June 2018, my flight into London was delayed by 4 hours so I phoned the hotel to tell them I would be checking in late- past 11pm. The hotel agent then went on to tell me that I had no room in the hotel, even though I had received a confirmation email the previous week. After being told that I had no room at the hotel I then had to make a last minute booking with a local travel lodge where I was able to stay the night. I then checked my bank the next day and Beaconsfield hotel had still taken my money- I tried to contact the hotel for a refund but no response. I had to file for a refund through my bank. Decide for yourself whether you think another hotel might be more reliable.

This hotel is a joke. We arrived and had to wait 30 mins while our room was “cleaned” well I don’t know what they were doing because when we went to our room it was disgusting. I couldn’t find the TV remote only eventually discover it had been thrown under the bed. Under the bed where dirty tissues used bottles and god knows what else. I reported it to the bar and we were moved to another room. In the new room the bin was completely full of someone’s old kebab and other crap! We reported it when we left and when we returned it was still full!! The room was uncomfortable, grubby not decorated with properly with splattered paint on the wall and a dirty old ceiling. It was also boiling hot in the room for some reason so we opened the window the strange porthole windows just flopped down dangerously when you opened them and the noise from outside was too loud we just closed them again. To add Insult to injury, when I arrived home I had been charged twice for the room! I received an email saying “sorry you didn’t make your booking” I contacted hotels.com and the hotel directly who both shelved the blame on each other! The manager wasn’t interested and just kept blaming the website. In the end I had to contact my credit card to get the money!! It seems the hotel had deliberately lied and said I didn’t turn up for the booking. They charged me at the hotel and online for a no show! Well I can tell you I definitely did turn up as I won’t forget this utter monstrosity in a hurry!! Avoid at all costs!

Positives: myself and a friend stayed here for a cheap price, the hotel staff were friendly, a decent place if you want to put your head down. On arrival staff showed us to the room and supplied two bottles of water. Negatives: staff take awhile to get you sorted. The room is very small and does need some work as there are stains on the ceiling and bits of paint on the wall, the toilet in the bathroom has very little room but could be fixed flat against the wall instead of angled. Overall if your looking for somewhere cheap to put your head down after an event this is a idea for you

OK, so first of all.. if your looking for EastEnders Queen Vic, you got it! reception? the reception is the bar inside in the pub! god give me strength. my friend and I waited around 30-35 mins in.. after travelling nearly 4 hours to this destination as you can imagen I was starving! so 5 mins into waiting to be check in I ran over to MacDonald's, (across the road - only fab thing about this). After getting checked in legs aching after doing abit of spinning gym sesh there was no option for a left only 4 long flights of stairs. we reach our room, which was based on top floor MacDonald's view.. again fab.. because I love food.. only to find that there is like 3 beds squished in a max 2 by 1 square metre room. Anyway this aside we said what else can happen.. well let me tell you my friends, the shower was turn on for 2 mins, whilst undressing withing matter of approx. 120 seconds, the bathroom if you can call it that was a tsunami, I felt like I was reliving the titanic, my friend was asking for help I felt like Jack trying to save my Rose. Anyway, we then have a few drinks and forget this traumatic experience and head out.. whilst coming back we had to walk the back way into the pub with no light direction I felt like I was entering a brothel of some sort, which I can only imagen looks similar to this. after reaching out room, we attempting to sleep whilst the room was shaking every hour due to the traffic outside and paper thin walls, thinner then dominos deep thin pizza. (peperoni doubled up is my fave) I felt like I was in world war 2 not knowing what to do with no underground shelter. call SOS. after waking up early hours I couldn't wait to leave this building and get back to the south where the dolphins swim in the sea. overall I would rate this 10/10 BOOK IT PEEPS.

If you're looking for a half decent night's sleep then stay away from here. The walls are paper thin so everything can be heard from the rooms next door as well as the hallways. Literally every floorboard creeks, every door slams and it's located on a busy London road. Unfortunately our double beds metal frame was still in one piece, it would of been a better sleep if the mattress was just on the floor but there wasn't enough to room to do that. The bedframe made the worst high pitched creak everytime you flinched, it was more annoying than anything. Then there was our bathroom, firstly the door didn't have a lock and you'd need to slam the door for it to actually shut. Once inside, when sat on the toilet your knees are touching the door. There was some very obvious brown stains left in the sink and the floor was also stained. Two towels provided for two people, could be classed as large hand towels but definitely not big enough to be a bath towel. There was however a half used bottle of 'femfresh' left in there, not sure whether this had been from the previous occupants or this was our complimentary shower gel. The tv remote only worked when you were directly a foot in front of the tv, kind of defeats the object in having a remote control. The room was generally dirty, needs a serious re painting of the walls and a new carpet. Also the plastic blind was all cracked at the sides. The staff downstairs weren't very helpful and gave the impression they didn't want to be there either. Asked whether they had any local taxi numbers, didn't help us at all. Prices of drinks are ok, but seems to be a very local pub - not the friendliest to outsiders. This place doesn't have a car park, it's whether you can find a space outside on the street - but this is residential parking between 8am - 6.30pm. So you'd need to be up nice and early to move your car! If you're thinking it's a great deal because of the price, there are good reasons why it's cheap. It's well worth paying an extra £20 to stay at a hotel chain nearby. Probably the worst night's sleep imaginable.

Very bad service Reception doesn't pick up calls and manager doesn't care what happens to customers.terrible experience.sat at the bar all day with no one attending to use . We had to book another hotel
