The staff are nice and accommodating. The room was okay, though it is a bit cramped. The place is near the King’s cross - St. Pancras station, which is good if you have an early morning train going to Paris.

Mostly good.

Extremely eco as no hot water! Guess thats just bad luck though. Comfortable bed, all very clean and tidy. TV hit amd miss on what FV channels were available. Location is great so would give it another go in the future.

Location of hotel is perfect for anyone travelling from kings cross or st pancreas, hotel super clean. Only complaint is we were near the bathroom so all night was banging everytime someone went to the bathroom which I know is not the fault of the hotel it would be guests with the slamming even though they had signs everywhere about keeping the noise down which they tried their part in that

Very disappointed on check in to be allocated to a different hotel as the Alhhambra had problems with the room. The other hotel was vasty inferior and should never have been offered as an alternative. After our complaint a room was found found for us back in the Alhambra! The room was fine and we felt the complaint had been dealt with satisfactorily. Overall it had been a little stressful.

This is definitely a low cost hotel with a huge heart. First thing to know - there is no elevator. The less you pay for a room the higher up you will be. And if you choose the cheapest room you will be sharing a shower and toilet room with the entire 4th floor. I didn’t realize that when I booked so it came as quite a surprise. However, the saving grace was the staff. I dropped my bags in the lobby when I arrived around 11:00 and went out for the day. When I came back both of my rather heavy bags and been delivered to my room. I was so grateful. When I left they came to get the bags and bring them down the narrow stairs with a smile and a great attitude. This staff is fabulous. Polite, patient, caring - it’s what gets this rather run-down, tired hotel it’s consistently strong ratings. The staff and the location can’t be beat.

The Alhambra is a very good budget hotel, very conveniently located just 1 minute walk from King's Cross and St Pancras stations. Rooms are small, but well laid out and spotlessly clean. Ideal for a short stay in central London. Downside: it's central London, so it's not quiet at night. My room was on the first floor, so I heard a lot of noise...special thanks to the two geezers having a very loud and prolonged argument over the parking of a van at 3am on Monday morning! Noise aside, it's an ideal location for all the amenities of Central London, the hotel is clean and safe, and the prices are good for the area. My third time staying at the Alhambra, and I am sure to be back again in the future.
