Look, overall, the place is a decent budget hotel...and I *must* emphasize the 'budget' part. Firstly, the bathrooms are tiny. Super tiny. Microscopically tiny. Did I mention that the bathrooms are tiny? Because they are. The rooms are small, but if one is simply using it as a place to crash after a long day, then that's not a problem. One thing to note, though, is that there is no air conditioning. That's not a problem if one is visiting in the cooler months, but something to definitely consider if the temps will be over 70F (21C).
Its was a nice hotel. Good location. Pillows were all that I have to complain about. Great otherwise.
I chose to stay in a tiny room it was really small to maneuver around with large suitcase and carry on. No outlet to recharge phone but could leave at front desk for staff to do or use plug there yourselfTiny bathroom. Room hot in late June , one window that top piece opened outNext time I woul go for a single larger room . The location is perfect . Able to store luggage safely.
The place is run down, disgusting, not worth a penny to stay here. Seriously reconsider before you book.
Very good location and affordable!! Rooms are very clean although I would recommend to get new mattresses.
Nice and decent room, conveniently near Victoria station and Buckingham palace. Tesco (grocery store) is close by in case needed.
The hotel is very affordable for its location. You are a five minute walk to the Victoria Station. Two min walk to two nice pubs and local restaurants. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. For these reasons I highly recommend this hotel.
I enjoyed staying in this very affordable hotel. Everything was good and the staff was really professional and nice. The only negative was the Matress in the bed that was not very comfortable.
Simple and basic hotel with an amazingly convenient location. The hotel is right by the train and bus station and near plenty of great restaurants and sites. The staff was extremely friendly and the rooms were kept clean. The rooms are very small but if you're on vacation and want to explore the city nonstop odds are you'll only need the room to sleep and shower anyways.
If youre looking for a cheap centralized place to walk to buckingham palace and you ate in normal to good shape, stay here. We read the reviews and a lot of the things posted were petty in comparison to the fact that youre in the RICHEST most EXPENSIVE part of town. So chill people, take your whining to a more expensive hotel. AND get the doubke bed room instead of the single for like 20 more for twice as much room. You'll stay warmer, theres a fridge and microwave. The single is strictly for sleeping only. My oldest daughter whos 20 and me her mama, stayed comfortably in the double. Perks: close to everything, cheap as hell, if youre here to explore an not stay for longer than sleeping, its ideal. Cons: they are small, and out dated. So go to london, stay here, and enjoy all the fun stuff! We did. And if you arebt a petty whiner, this place is fine. Seriously. But if you cant camp or you are picky as crap, pay morw and stay further from everything.
The bathroom was ridiculously small. You could rest you head on the sink while going to the bathroom. I'm not sure that a large person could even sit on the toilet with the door closed. A window pane was broken and covered in cardboard looked as though it had been like that for quite a while and there was no mention of this upon check in. We also had to leave a leave a refundable deposit for the use of a tv remote.
