The staff are excellent. The hotel had a gym and a pool whichbis not something many London hotels have. The rooms are small but clean. For a solo business traveler, this hotel is great value for the money. I have stayed at thia hotel before and I would return without hesitating.

Steam room and jacuzzi weren't working, and hadn't been informed of this before I booked. Roshani however was polite, patient & compromising with my disappointment. I was offered a reasonable solution, and I hope this will be adhered to on my next visit. Breakfast was good, nice room with a fridge, well happy with the bathtub. Everyone friendly. The lockers in the spa are terrible, they need immediate attention! It's the maintenance that's letting this place down. The sauna was only 70° when I got in there, and cold air comes in every time the door opens, went up to 90° though when we asked. I hope for improvements when I return in the next few months, but I was fairly satisfied overall.

Unfortunately, this stay at the Holiday Inn Kensington High Street was disappointing, which is regrettable as I have stayed here many times before due to its excellent location and convenience. London hotels are not cheap, and while this property may be more affordable than some, it is certainly not inexpensive, making the decline in service more noticeable. The one clear positive was Ali at the night desk during check in. He was an absolute gem, professional, courteous, and genuinely made an effort to create a good first impression. Beyond that, several basic amenities were lacking. There was no body lotion in the room, which is particularly frustrating in winter, and no bathrobe unless you accessed the spa. There was also no complimentary water provided. To obtain water, I had to go downstairs to the front desk or purchase it from the in house Starbucks, which felt unreasonable for the price. Room service and housekeeping were also problematic. Morning calls to both departments went unanswered. After waiting hours, I was finally given a WhatsApp number for room service, only to find the menu extremely limited. I could not even order a glass of fresh juice and was advised to use Starbucks or order from outside. Security was another concern. Elevator access previously required a room key, but during this stay people walked in from the street, entered the elevator, and wandered the halls unsupervised. Overall, this visit reflected a significant decline in standards

Staff not very friendly. Booked two rooms but we ended up on two different floors. Asked staff to accommodate us being on same floor but that was a no. Overall rooms are very small and I don’t think I will be staying in this hotel again. Main advantage being so close to Kensington high street tube station and restaurants on this major street. But amongst all hotels I stayed in London (lots of them) this was one of the worst and over priced for what you get.

We chose this hotel because it advertises pool and jacuzzi and my husband has medical issues in which he takes jacuzzi twice a day .when we got there the person said it would be fixed within a few days and later said Tuesday .so we left wed and they then said later in the week .my husband had to stay in room a few days due to his arthritis and we had two rooms with teenagers and would have been too much to change rooms .i really feel like we should get partial refund as this was the primary reason we chose this hotel .also if elderly ask for handicap room as the bath tub that has shower is so high and my husband slipped getting out .food fir breakfast was subpar -eggs just sit there and we took the safe way and only ate bread and cheese and ate out .very disappointing and hope hotel will give partial refund . Also rooms are really tiny .staff very nice but guy at jacuzzi kept saying different days of when jacuzzi will be fixed

Decided to upgrade the room on arrival. The heating in our room was not working, we only noticed this on our first night after we got back from our night out at midnight. We were offered a room change at that point, or portable heaters. We decided to take the portable heater as there was no way you were in a state to change rooms at that time of hour. However we still have a very unpleasant cold and uncomfortable sleep as it was very cold in the morning we decided to complain we were offered to change your room which we agreed to take, but we had to wait a few hours for the room to be available, I find this hard to believe as they were willing to change rooms at midnight!! Once in the new room, once it had taken a few hours of our day and what we are planning to do away from us, it was a very pleasant room. Then we decided to use the hotel spa facilities, I need to find out that the steam room and the spa were out of order. We booked this hotel for these facilities as they were included in the hotel. We stayed at this hotel a year ago and had a very pleasant day and this is why we decide to stay again, but it was disappointing this time.

Breakfast was lovely apart from the staff member who told us breakfast was finishing by pointing to the door and telling us to go Don’t even bother booking a premium room - our room was very small and did not have anything that was remotely premium
