Americas Best Value Inn & Suites Jackson, TN

No vending or ice machines. Smell throughout the building as if smokers are smoking in the building. Hot room, elevators.

Smelled awful, cigarette smell in hall also. Very old looking. Nothing modern.

Hallways reek of cigarettes, if it's humid outside, it's humid inside (everywhere but the lobby of course), staff do very little to help accommodate your issues (AC in room didn't work, they gave a small fan to help ease the discomfort while the repair man pulled another unit out of another room), there was dirt on the bathroom floor, the toilet seat had visible stains (like bleach spots), every single drawer (clothes or kitchen) had stains inside. The ice machine on the second floor did not work, there was no note saying it didn't. Wifi wasn't even close to advertised "High speed internet" more like "High ping and major Packet loss". This location is very close to other hotels, big stores (Walmart,Target, Shoe Carnival), restaurants, and the Highway if you just don't feel like staying in your overpriced, unsanitary room.

Location great. Rooms good. Clean facilities. Breakfast was minimal but ok

I was just passing through Jackson and needed a cheap place to stay. So I stayed here and I was happy with the price. The cleanliness wasn't the best though. I found multiple hairs on my bed and towels. That was the only complaint though.

This place is scary and the room is just big enough for the bed it holds. It might be cheap but this is a case of you get what you pay for.

The room looked to have new carpet & fresh paint. The hallway to the rooms had worn carpet & smelled. In the shower there were large holes that had not been repaired from someone or something pulling down the curtain rod. The bed was comfortable, the room was small, but for the one night I stayed it was fine. I paid extra for an early check in, had traveled all night & needed sleep. The morning clerk was not a happy individual. There are many hotels to choose from in Jackson, I will try another one next time I'm in town. Not returning to this one.

While Microtel doesn't offer a lot of extras (pool, restaurant etc) it is quite comfortable and clean. The staff there are always pleasant, personable and professional. They go above and beyond to be helpful. I stay there frequently and will continue to do so.

suited our needs of an affordable place to stay for one night

This hotel is the worse. It use to be nice but I would rather sleep in my car or on the street then here. Housekeeping needs to learn how to clean a room and front desk needs customer service training. Manager was nice but she needs to get her staff in check and put in a request to her boss to remodel the whole hotel. This is 2011 not 2000.

1. They put us in a handy capped room that even a handy capped person would have trouble with. 2. They moved us to the room next door that had a heater that ran only on high. 3. We had to ask for extra towels, there were 3 of us in the room, and also had to ask for toilet paper two nights in a row. 4. On Tuesday they did not make up the beds or give us any clean towels and washcloths.

The bathtub was very dirty with hair and mystery 'gunk' dried on it! YUK!! One pillow was ripped down one side. (The side showing out of the pillowcase!) The fitted sheet was too small---had to keep pulling it over the mattress. (It, too, looked awful.) The early morning desk clerk was very nice and polite, though. Wouldn't stay there again, not even on a bet. Oh and the was only a partial roll of toliet paper!

Not as good as the previous recomendations. Easy in and out. CB is next door for a good breakfast

This hotel is right next to the Interstate. As such the rooms on the front of the hotel had lots of traffic noise all night. The room was clean but I had to call to get a TV remote. A remote was brought up to me immediately. The waffle iron was great.
