The price was reasonable but the front desk host wasn't very sociable. The room was comfy but there was no fridge or microwave in the room for convenience . The ice machines on each floor were all not working.
Was worried because of how old the property is. But was pleasantly surprised by how clean the room was. No microwave or fridge in room but didn't bother me. The hallway floors have old carpet but didn't smell bad. The breakfast bar is Continental not Full, but the coffee was good and muffins tasty. ...
The hotel is nice, staff was pleasant The hallway leading to the room had an odor. Also, the bath tub drain was clogged so whem taking a shower it filled with water. The carpet was wet from the foot of the bed to the heating/AC unit. I did find what looked like a baby roach or water bug in the bathroom ...
Hotel was great. Breakfast was par at best. Staff was great.
The hotel facilities are dated but clean. The beds were comfortable. Close to Freed Hardeman University and price was right.
Hallways reek of cigarettes, if it's humid outside, it's humid inside (everywhere but the lobby of course), staff do very little to help accommodate your issues (AC in room didn't work, they gave a small fan to help ease the discomfort while the repair man pulled another unit out of another room), there was dirt on the bathroom floor, the toilet seat had visible stains (like bleach spots), every single drawer (clothes or kitchen) had stains inside. The ice machine on the second floor did not work, there was no note saying it didn't. Wifi wasn't even close to advertised "High speed internet" more like "High ping and major Packet loss". This location is very close to other hotels, big stores (Walmart,Target, Shoe Carnival), restaurants, and the Highway if you just don't feel like staying in your overpriced, unsanitary room.
When I did check in they give me room it was someone in that all ready it's shame to go someone room.after went to desk and give me second room but Wi-Fi not working they don't know why it's showing error message. Not worth to pay $$ for no Wi-Fi.
