Stayed 4 nights.Great location in the heart of the very interesting western district of Hongkong island.From the moment I arrived the staff was courteous and extremely helpful,especially Sherman and Joey.I classify the hotel as a " boutique" hotel,and it is very charming.The room rates are a great deal for Hong Kong.An excellent breakfast,delivered to my room every morning,was included in the cost of my room.Free wi fi and Internet are available,and I used these amenities.My room was small but had every amenity (eg: High def tv,room safe,free local phone ) that can be found in a 5 star hotel.I would absolutely go back to the Sohotel the Next time I visit .A wonderful hotel at bargain prices.Truly a gem.
The room had a significant smell to it. Had we not just gotten off a 15 hour flight, we would have asked for another room. The bathroom was so small you had to exit the bathroom to turn around. I'm not huge but an average size American women 5'10 and 140 lbs. if we were not exhausted I doubt we would have slept. The location was its only saving grace
