Amazing, amazing and just amazing- both facility and service. Our room was gorgeous and had a drop dead view of the Hong Kong harbor as well as up the hill toward The Peak. The service was out of this world and I have very high standards. The entire staff knew us and helped us do everything we wanted to do in Hong Kong in 48 hours. From driving us to Lantau and then up to the secret park at The Peak to making and recommending restaurant reservations to leaving a very thoughtful book about Bali -because it was our next destination- it was just superb service. I can’t wait to come back! Thanks to all at The Upper House!!

To say I enjoyed my stay here is an understatement. I was quietly surprised having sold this property many years ago in my former life as a travel agent. The pictures don’t do this beautiful boutique property any justice. No wonder some of the worlds best known celebrities use this as their preferred HKG hotel. The architecture and decor is timeless, you wouldn’t think this property was 10 years old. Looked brand new to us. The hospitality experience was world class with Renne Holten a standout and an absolute star. Highly recommend dinner and/or drinks at the Café Gray. Try their Earl Grey Martinis! 😉

We stayed here to celebrate our 1st wedding anniversary. It's important to point out that I have worked in hospitality for over 20 years (so, what I'm basically saying is I am very, VERY picky) and I poured through the Trip Advisor reviews expecting our experience to perhaps not be on par with everyone that offered feedback - but I now have insider knowledge as to how every review is 5 star for this property: I was absolutely bowled over, it was a 5+* stay, the team and the hotel legit deserve all of the praise. What struck me right away was the intent of the team to ensure that every part of your stay is memorable, little gestures that feel very authentic and caring, not at all forced. The team genuinely care about their guests and are so invested in making you feel so incredibly welcome. The hotel has been exquisitely designed by Andre Fu, I particularly love the dimly lit vibe throughout and the escalators up to the bedroom lifts, genius! The interior design offers everything you need and nothing you don't, no unnecessary frills just cool function and practicality. We also loved Cafe Grey - this is really not a cafe but a fabulous rooftop bar with epic, epic, epic views! The daily replenishment of the soft drinks, beers and snacks was also a fantastic touch. Thank you once again to Sharon and Bilis who were incredible hosts. We will definitely be back next time we are in HK. Well done :)

My husband and I recently visited Hong Kong and stayed at the Upper House. From the minute we set our foot there, we knew we couldn't have found a better place. We were warmly welcomed and personally guided to our room. It was our anniversary and our room was even upgraded (pictures attached) which was totally unexpected!!! From then on, Sharon, Bilis and Kevin made sure that we had an absolutely brilliant time which wasn't limited to helping us choose the coolest restaurants or places to visit but also getting us on vip lists to some hot spots (literally saving us 1hr queueing at a time!). We visited Hong Kong during the latest pro-democracy protests and the team helped us even manage our way around town to avoid being stuck in traffic. Ah, and did I mention our 'belated birthday' ice cream which just melted my heart - no pun intended :) Whenever we travel, we tend to stick to well-known hotel brands (and we have been to Hong Kong before) but that experience was 10-fold better!! Thank you guys!

My husband and I spent an interesting weekend in HongKong staying at The Upper House hotel. We were picked up by the hotel driver at the cruise port. Check in was seamless and done in the upgraded suite provided. The room was huge with a separate area for dressing and make up application. To my surprise, the hotel had the loveliest of gifts waiting for us to celebrate a special birthday and anniversary. I had contacted the hotel a few weeks before arrival asking for guide and restaurant recommendations. Communication was top notch as they arranged for a terrific guide to show us the city. The hotel also made dinner reservations before hand for us. Needless to say, it was a difficult weekend to be in Hong Kong, but the hotel went out of their way to make the stay easier. Transit and malls were closed, but they found a location for shopping which was open for a few hours before we left. Akie and Janice were terrific hotel representatives who looked out for our safety and provided the best in service. We truly felt taken care of! The one night we were able to go out for dinner, they had a hotel driver take us to the restaurant and pick us up when finished. We had the hotel driver take us to the airport at the end of our stay. A breakfast was packed and waiting in the car in case we hadn't had a chance to eat earlier. Unbelievable!

This was the best service I’ve had in any hotel for 10 years – everything about Upper House was amazing – I stayed for a week and was astounded. I could not recommend this hotel more when staying in Hong Kong.

The staff at the Upper House separate themselves from any other hotel I have stayed at. Our check in was seamless, we were brought up from the lobby to do it in our room. They helped advised us on what to do and what parts of the city to be in during certain times. The recommended an incredible bar with a beautiful view before the dinner we had booked. They truly go out of their way to make your stay special. The rooms are huge and very spacious with great views. The shower is probably my favourite thing about the hotel. It's quite liberating to have the view you have when you showering (haha). We will be definitely be back. Thank you to the staff for also making us feel like rockstars for my bday. Truly special. Guest services manager (Renee) was very special and helped us out beyond belief. Also arranged for some complimentary trips across the island in their BMW fleet. We unfortunately had a small hickup upon check out, but it wasn't a big enough deal to us for us to rate this hotel otherwise. We'll be back when we visit HK. Will recommended to anyone and everyone.

Everything about The Upper House is wonderful. The rooms are stunning and spacious, the style is understated and exceptional and team and service are out of this world. We loved our stay so much and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. Special mentions to Jack in the bar, who was consistently charming but also went the extra lengths to surprise and delight us, as well as Janice and Arkie in the guest experience team, who went above and beyond also. Thanks everyone, we’ll certainly be back. Trinity and Simon 😊

Incredible attention to details, friendly, approachable. True 5 star and beyond. We go often to the bar. Our favorite place in Hong Kong. Always very welcoming and making us feel like we are at home .
