Very nice experience! This hotel has a very exclusive feeling of luxury atmosphere. The bathtub is hugh with very nice view of the harbour! Service was top-notch. Besides the pricey rate, its one of the best hotel I've ever stayed in.
What a fabulous refuge from the hustle and bustle of Hong Kong..A place to call home during our first time visit to Hong Kong..Our room was very large, luxurious and comfortable!! What set this hotel far above the others is the personal service...Our grandsons wanted us to buy them "spinners" ..Not only did the staff help us locate the perfect vendor, Michelle An at the front desk bought us one to give to our grandson...We had little special gifts delivered to our room each evening. We were celebrating our 49th anniversary...Our bed was covered in rose petals and we were given a lovely bottle of wine to share..Hotel restaurant was delicious....The restaurant recommendations were top notch...THE BEST!!!!
Had heard wonderful things but everything surpassed expectations. Lovely greeting and quick check into my incredible room. I love a good bathtub with a view and this has to be one of the best. Room is beautifully appointed but not too busy. Service is attentive but not intrusive. The bed was so comfortable and the linens were the best. Massage was top rate and offered in my suite. My only criticism is that I did not really want to leave the hotel so did not see enough of Hong Kong on my short visit!!!!
Our stay at the Upper House Hotel in Hong Kong got better & better every day. The hotel & rooms are contemporary in design & perfectly appointed. Every single aspect of the room is designed with the guest in mind. We ended up spending way more time in the spacious room than we had planned. Even though the hotel is highly priced we would definitely stay there again. The staff were incredibly attentive & anticipated all our needs. The service levels were outstanding & the overall standard is easily comparable with the Mandarin Oriental or the Four Seasons & far more low key. The food at the Cafe Grey Deluxe was probably one our best meals we had over our 6 day stay not to mention the spectacular view.
I spent 5 nights at the Upper House last month, and again checked out after the 5th night wishing I didn't have to leave. Marcel, Sabrina and the team took fantastic care of me and go beyond 10/10 for service. I knew what I was in for after spending a week last year, and the team welcomed me back HOME with open arms. I couldn't fault a single aspect... the rooms are amazing, breakfasts are to die for, cocktails in the bar upstairs phenomenal, and every meal (both in-room and upstairs) was delicious. I can't wait to go back... easily my favorite hotel. Definitely put Upper House at the top of list for HK hotel options, you're guaranteed to be super impressed and well looked after! Huge thanks again to Marcel, Sabrina and the team... see you next year!
The Upper House is a lovely hotel. The rooms are large, warm and incredibly elegant, the mini bar terrific and the amenities lovely. The view is also beautiful, even if it's not the view of the harbour. But most of all, the service is extraordinary. I am welcomed "home" every time that I arrive, even if my visits are a year apart. They have taken the time to learn my likes and dislikes and look after me in every way. It is a joy to stay with the Upper House every time.
To complete our holiday in Japan, Sth Korea and China on a Silver Seas cruise, we stayed 2 nights at this fabulous hotel to take in the full on Hong Kong experience. Our 41st floor suite had awesome views of the harbour (so we could see the Silver Shadow head off to Thailand). The rooms are large and very tastefully furnished. The bathroom must be one of the best in HK (this is not our first HK hotel). Complimentary beers, a good espresso machine, a Bose soundlink for the iPhone, remote blinds, etc, etc. But more importantly, the staff could but do more to help and being a smaller hotel (it actually sits on the top of a larger chain hotel), they know who you are. We dined one night in their restaurant, which I obviously very popular. Like all good HK restaurants, it is somewhat expensive (wine particularly) but the service was quick and the food was outstanding. The hotel is basically on top of the upmarket Pacific Place shopping centre and it is also easy to walk or taxi to the Wan Chai district.
We stayed at the Upper House a couple of times during our visits to Hong King in late September / early October 2017. To say that the service was impeccable would be an understatement: the Upper House simply provide the BEST service of any hotel we have ever stayed in. The extremely friendly and accommodating staff, led by Marcel Thoma, was constantly looking out for us and tending to any requests we may have had. Sabrina Klick was an outstanding host, making us really feel at home and with a desire to come back and visit the Upper House again soon. Little details are what made our stay amazingly enjoyable: seamless reservations at top notch restaurants, desert from those restaurants sent to our room, transportation, recommendations, even a small printed photo of us during our second stay was framed and set up in our room! We absolutely loved it. In addition to the superb service, the Upper House offers extremely comfortable and large rooms, the standout thought was the size of the bathroom / closet space. The amazing tub overlooking the Victoria Harbor was exactly what we needed after a long day in Hong Kong. Café Grey, the hotel bar in the top floor, is regarded as one of Hong Kong best, and the food was excellent too. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I’d sincerely recommend to anyone visiting Hong Kong to stop looking and book your stay at the Upper House
Rooms are nicely finished and large for HK, the service is very good indeed. Bathroom is as big as the bedroom and the bed is at least emperor size and nice and firm. The rooms are well equipped, the free minibar (water, soft drinks and snacks) are a nice tough and topped up daily. Very good location a few minutes from Central with a host of excellent restaurants just a few minutes ride away. The only slightly odd thing is the entrance lobby being a bit small (can't be helped!) but the staff were excellent and provided recommendation and a host of information and lists of things to do upon arrival. We considered this against the Four Seasons and Mandarin Oriental and actually visited both whilst in the city. The Four Seasons is in the IFC mall and a bit hectic, the Mandarin Oriental was very nice and would have been a good alternative choice. Overall very impressed and would definitely recommend.
