Somewhat ignored by international business people, and wrongfully so. The executive floors make it one of the best values in Hong Kong. Great diversity of restaurants and great spa for a tired traveller.
Have stayed at the Grand Hyatt off and on since it opened at the end of the 1980s. This hotel has maintained its excellence since our first trip. The comfort, the food, the service are all of the highest quality.
Hotel was very nice. Ate dinner with a great view of the city. Great hotel for business travelers and families. Had the Chinese breakfast in my room. I enjoyed it. Take a taxi to the peak for a great view of the harbor.
Hotel is quite well located with all excellent services from Hyatt. Chinese restaurant was excellent as well as the bay views. Staff always very helpful. Good size rooms and very nice spa as well. Worth your money.
We spent 8 nights a The Grand Hyatt, Hong Kong in a grand suite which gave us access to the Grand Club Lounge on the 30th floor. Even with the extensive work that is ongoing on the waterfront, the view of the harbour from our room was still wonderful. The view from the Lounge was spectacular giving us a first class view of the fireworks display on the harbour for the national holiday that occurred during our stay. The hotel is about a 10 minute walk to the Wan Chai MRT station and the Star Ferry terminal and a little more to the catch a Hong Kong tram. The staff at this hotel could not have done any more to make our stay more enjoyable. Tim Hunt is an outstanding front office manager who gave us tips on where to go, what to see and ensured our stay was a memorable one. He made contact frequently to check everything was taken care of. My husband's birthday was acknowledged with balloons and a banner in our room accompanied by champagne and cake to make it a very special day. All staff we met were welcoming, efficient and professional in making all guests feel valued. The Grand Lounge staff were superb, particularly Jon and Scott whose daily efforts to enhance our stay were much appreciated. I look forward to a return visit when the waterfront work is complete.
Spent five days at Hyatt. The staff could not do enough for us. Very personable for a large hotel. Assisted greatly with an injury I incurred whilst visiting outside of the Hyatt. Arranged day excursions, assisted with hospital appointments etc.
I have stayed at this hotel a 100 times and it doesn't get old. unbelievable views of Hong Kong Harbor. Next to convention center. Walking distance to shopping foods restaurants etc... Very friendly and professional staff. Excellent restaurants... Pricy hotel but it is worth the price.
I give this hotel 5 stars for location, amenities, staff and service. The restaurants, spa, gym and pool are also first rate. It is my home away from home in Hong Kong. I have also met happy fellow guests from around the world who have enriched my experience at the Grand Hyatt Hong Kong.
It was great hotel with nice view. Nice food, facilaties, Great services. But room cleaning condition doesn't great for everyday. I don't know why but it's too different the day i left lot of tips or not. Overall great hotel. I recommand it.
First time here for some meeting and the three courses food prepared for the meeting was really good with great decoration and the tastes. The beef was very tender and the entree was really good but I wasn't really into the green pee mousse. The tiramisu was very tasty too. The service was very attentive and very attentive. When I was downstairs waiting for my friends, I asked to use the bathroom so I can refresh myself before the meeting. The staffs were really friendly and helpful - pointed me to the right direction past the restaurant downstairs. The place is clean and pretty well managed - will come and stay one day to see how their rooms are.
