Grand Hyatt Hong Kong5.0 out of 5.0

My husband and I spent 4 nights at the Grand Hyatt in Hong Kong and I have to say this was our favorite. We have stayed at the Park Hyatt in Paris, Sydney and Dubai. Dennis was a tremendous help with attraction and food recommendations. The room was amazing with a view of the city skyline. The hotel food was some of the best we have had.
After many trips to HK, this is my first time staying at the Grand Hyatt. Prior to this, it was the Mandarin Oriental or JW Marriott. We stayed here over the NYE weekend and couldn't have been more happy with our choice. First the location is ideal. The ferry stop to Kowloon and Wan Chai subway was just a short walk. The hotel is excellent with an outdoor pool and bar that was a good place to sit at night and have a drink. The room was large and offered all the amenities of a luxurious hotel. Automatic blinds was a nice touch. the best of all was the Club service. It offered soft drinks, beer and wine and snacks throughout the day and night and stayed open for the fireworks display on NYE which allowed us to enjoy them while benefiting from these amazing services. I was a little reluctant at first from staying at the Grand Hyatt due to some of the negative comments that were written on Trip Advisor but glad that I stayed here. Only wish there gym area had sauna or steam room.
I was here with my daughters. We got two rooms at the club level. The views of the bay were breathtaking. The hotel is great. Efficient staff, good service and we had very good breakfast at club level
This is one of the leading hotels, very efficient, sophisticated and comfortable. My wife and I stopped over for one night and felt we had to stay here. The staff are wonderful and the attention to detail is wonderful. Since the rooms have been renovated, the feel of the hotel has become more contemporary. The Grand Club has been brought up to date and remains one of the best. It is a real treat to visit...
Excellent location and great Club staff. This was the first stop on our honeymoon and we were exceptionally, exceptionally grateful for an early check-in. The view from the Club Lounge is wonderful and the staff fantastic. We ended up spending quite a lot of our time in the lounge as my husband was injured by the room's toilet 'attack glass' as my husband calls it (there is a really silly piece of glass that sticks out next to the toilet and being clear is very easy to run into). My husband unfortunately broke his toe on the second day, which did affect our honeymoon. We did tell the staff and they sent an apology and said they would fix. Also, housekeeping was really helpful removing all the blood. I really hope something is done as it is a safety concern. Overall, great hotel, but sadly given my husband is still having issue with his foot, we wouldn't stay again, which is a pity bc it is a great hotel.
We booked two rooms to accommodate us and our kids. Both rooms were great. We liked the location also. The only little point for us was not being able to have some more casual dining available. All the restaurants were 5 Star, would have liked a casual meal one night and not much caters for that. I suppose it is a 5 star resort after all. The pool grill was not open which was probably due to weather. And the grand cafe was booked out. Overall we were very pleased and would stay here on our return to Hong Kong.
Excellent place to stay. The hotel and room were top notch, clean and modern. The staff was super helpful and friendly. The harbor view from our room was great. We were able to watch the symphony of light show from our room if we were back from sightseeing early enough. We even left the curtains open when we slept because of the excellent view.
The Grand Hyatt Hong Kong for filled all our expectations for our stay from the moment we checked in to the day we checked out...the room, service, staff were perfect....we stayed on the Spa floor using the massage facilities....
Excellent view from the upper rooms on city and victoria harbour, nice heated pool, unfortunately only open from Sunrise to Sunset. Impressive Lobby with restaurant. Little walking (10min) to MTR / Wan Chau. Very attentive staff - we got a birthday cake as a pesent at arrival.
This must be our forth or fifth time staying with grand hyatt. We book the suite (with a separate living room) every time and we love it every time. We have access to the grand hyatt club which has amazing breakfast that we look forward everyday. Top notch service delivered every time. Clean room, sheets and attention to details. I think they can probably do better with the body wash, shampoo and conditioner and that's pretty much about it. I used the gym and it is great, we also used the big playground which was a plus for the kids. Always love the great harbour view. Will probably come back again in 2018. Thank you as always.
