The rooms were ok but on the smaller side. We did get a nice view of the bay, and club lounge access. By getting lounge access, we were able to check in in the lounge and grab a few meals and drinks at numerous times during our stay. Our hostess checked us in and sent a bottle of wine to our room for me and my partner to enjoy. The lounge options were lacking, but it wasn’t bad. The staff was friendly but this area of HK is kind of rough? Please have some HKD if you plan to go to any of the local shops or restaurants as none of them take international credit cards, and many of the wait staff can be quite rude when you ask. Luckily this hotel will exchange currency for you, but expect airport exchange rates and they only take larger bills. The shops at the ground floors do get locked up at night so if you take the elevator down there, you might have to find the openings to get out.

Overall amazing. Peyton – who works there on Fridays and Sundays – greeted me at the door with a smile each and every time, even helped me out when I was 10 HKD short for the taxi ride. He is a standout. Can’t wait to be back in Hong Kong, and especially at Hyatt Centric. A stay to remember, as with Typhoon Ragasa raging outside.

Although northpoint isnt prime location for hongkong, but the hotel is well connected with public transport and easily reachable via taxi. Water front property so you get great views and rooms are very spacious for hong kong standards and modern. Hotel also does a great job at promoting the local area.

I only stayed 1 night at Hyatt Centric, but it did not disappoint. All the facilities were basically brand new and the room felt very clean and new too. The staff were extremely nice and helped right away with anything I needed. I will 100% be staying here again!
