Stayed for 5 nights with my family at this wonderful hotel over Easter. It is not often that you stay in a hotel where you never have any complaints or think that something could have been done better or gone better - but this time we had a flawless stay! The location of the hotel is great if you like to stay in the Causeway Bay area. The staff is very professional and helpful. The room (family room) was very comfortable and the view from the room was great. The breakfast buffet was very good. I would love to stay here again!
Had an amazing one night stay in a family room at the Crowne Plaza Causeway Bay. Never stayed in Causeway Bay area before, only Kowloon side, but would prefer to Causeway Bay area for future visits to Hong Kong. The location of the hotel is within walking distance to the subway and several shopping malls. Our check in was very smooth and being IHG rewards members we were given four drinks vouchers for the rooftop bar on 28th floor. Our room on 13th floor itself was small but functional and modern. Appreciate the fact of having a floor to ceiling window in the bathroom with great views of Hong Kong and the Happy Valley Race Course. The rooftop bar on 28th floor is a must do. Very long and busy happy hour from 5-8 p.m.. This is also where the pool is at. The best part of our stay though was the breakfast buffet. The selection was spectacular including Chinese and Western selections and even frozen yoghurt. Service in restaurant was very prompt and hospitable. Overall I would definitely return to the Crowne Plaza Causeway Bay.
Been to Crowne Plaza a couple of times in the past year for work, rooms have always been clean, spacious and most importantly the service staff do their best to help with your rooms' requests. One of the more spacious hotels in HK and close to all the happenings in CWB. An establishment worth returning to.
We've been staying in this hotel for a few years and it's always been really good. Its rooms are very comfortable, clean and has great beds. Pillows are awesome. His location is very close to plenty of restaurants and shopping malls. I personally enjoy the gym which opens 24/7. Kurdos were reduced a little bit but its food is still really good. Great breakfast options.
I stayed here for 4 nights in the first week of March. It’s my first time staying in causeway bay happy valley and was pleasantly surprised. Hong Kong has such an awesome harbour and i usually stay in a hotel with harbour views but the view over happy valley racecourse and the hustle and bustle of causeway bay was awesome. The hotel itself is very modern and the room was brilliant. The room was immaculate with a king size bed and quite a generous size for Hong Kong. Room service as prompt with very attentive and friendly staff. The breakfast also is a must with a huge variety of food. The rooftop bar has a great vibe and nice views. Great location near the most unique racecourse in the world Happy Valley and also Times Square shopping centre and Train only 5 mins walk. All in all I would definetly stay here again mainly because it represents excellent value especially for Hong Kong.
The staff were lovely at the Crowne Plaza. Our room was beautiful overlooking the racetrack. The problem with the hotel was that 28 floors are serviced by three elevators. It would literally take 30-40minutes to get from our level 8 room to the buffet breakfast. The elevator would be full and not allow us on. We eventually resorted to going up on the elevator to go back down. It was a massive wast of time. Build some more elevators...
Great hotel, stayed here for 4 nights. Room was large and clean. It had everything. Close to everything, MTR and all kind of shops and restaurants. Bed is nice, working desk is spacious. Only downside would be the TV, reception is poor. Didn't interact much with the staff but the times I did they were good. Will def try and stay here again next time I'm in HK.
Visited this IHG property 2 years ago using IHG points. Usually staying in Intercontinental across the bay, CP is a good hotel with perfect location close to Times Square and convenient roof top bar and swimming pool. Executive rooms are spacious with great view of Happy valley. Just make sure not to get burnt at the top....
I checked-in on 27-Aug and checked-out on 30-Aug-2017 for a business trip to Hong Kong. Hotel team (front desk) turn out to be highly proactive in terms of organizing the room with needs of international guest, e.g. kept umbrella in the room as weather was rainy. Secondly they offered discounted breakfast options, etc. They also kept universal adapter in the room. Location of the hotel is nearer to my event location. It's good stay with comfortable room and decent services from hotel team. Concierge team shared awesome veg. restaurant nearby to the hotel, it turn out to be a great experience. Crowne Plaza, Causeway Bay will be my preferred choice for visit to Hong Kong.
++ location -- quite pricey Booked a family room in Crowne Plaza Causeway Bay for a 2 night stay for a family of 4. Location: Hotel is located just a few minutes walk from Times Square with all the businesses, shops and restaurants available in CWB. Lots of business traveller in this hotel. Entrance and reception area of the hotel is quite small: with a small reception area on the left, some waiting seats in the middle and directly on the right the entrance of the elevators. I don't know why but I was a bit disappointed and somehow expected something more grand. Maybe it was because this was the most expensive hotel I have booked during our stay in HK with others to compare. Room: A nice family room with decent glass wall (why the glass in a family?) bathroom. One kingsize bed and 1 single bed, very comfortable. We had a lovely view of the racecourse and sport fields of CWB. Pool and gym were in construction at the time so we could not use it, however we were called beforehand by staff to let us know. Breakfast was very good, as well in choice as the quality of the food. Staff was helpful, and a nice bonus was the portable Wifi provided during your stay. The location was superb, right in the middle of the hustle and bustle of Causeway Bay. Also very convenient if you are planning a day out with the kids to Ocean Park, only a few stops away by MTR. It was a good stay at Crowne Plaza. However, considering the price we paid for the two nights, I expected more from this hotel. Obviously due to the location, but also perhaps catering more towards business travellers and not so much to families, I might consider a different option when returning to HK island.
