They’re was a roach in our room. The room smelled like mold and mildew.

The safety entrance door to the inside of the hotel was open and you could not shut it. Anybody could walk in at any moment. Also the window in our room was open, the bathtub was dirty. The room was located in 123 at the very end of the building. It looked like someone had climbed in the open window and used the room. I did report this to the front desk and asked to change rooms to the 2nd floor because I didn’t feel safe. The room change was done with no questions asked. I also paid 168 for the bottom room and I was told my new rate was 109 and I have a receipt showing 109. When I got home and checked my account I was charged 168. I will NEVER stay here again!,,

It was cheap geanted. No towels no working fridge pool and hot tub stea dirty and stunk trash piled uo st side door where you come in i asked gor shampoo denied it poor service all the way around

The hotel looked like something from a horror movie. The carpet was disgusting & We took the stairs because the elevator hadn’t been maintenance since 6/18/18, with an expiration date of 6/18/19. The elevator was dirty as well. We would have left but everything was sold out & really didn’t have an option but to stay. Housekeeping was horrible, I specifically asked for the room to be cleaned and fresh towels but that never happened. Anytime we wanted something or needed something we had to walk downstairs to get it. The only thing I loved about the hotel was the location, it’s literally near everything. I would not recommend anyone stay here unless it’s a last resort. It has potential with a few updates. Also the outside trash can near the side exit (the stairs we had to use) was partially emptied during our stay, the trash was literally over flowing from Saturday - Monday giving the hotel a very trashy look.

Room had good comfortable bed. Workers spent their day smoking at the front (main) entrance and not tending to their jobs. Place was disgustingly dirty.

Convenient to beach. Staff nice . Property is rundown and needs a facelift on outside. Room was dated and bathroom needed some TLC. Bed was great and room large. OK room for price.

Great price for the location! Great staff! Our room keys would not work on 2 separate rooms. Since it was late at night, the staff let us in a room with a master key. I believe the staff had to reprogram the door lock the next day. Staff was very friendly & always eager to assist us. We will stay here again! :)

The room was not completely clean. The gentelman at the checkin counter was rude when we asked for a new hairdryer because the one in the room sparked and quit working. I would not recommend this hotel.

The hotel is in need of many repairs. The ONLY thing good about the stay was the beds were clean and comfortable. NOTHING arose in this hotel was clean or maintained.

Night/evening staff were less than helpful. I asked for another coffee for the in room coffee maker and they told me they didn't have any. Also, I left my room at 9am for the day and returned in the evening to a room that had not been cleaned or touched at all for that matter. Doors coming into the hotel on the side were not locked so anyone could enter with or without a key. They did allow me to stay for an extra night without charging me the higher rate which was nice. It's OK, but in the furture, I'll choose another place to stay when in Gulf Shores.

The room had a funky smell. The indoor pool area was under renovation. The jacuzzi and sauna did not work. There were windows missing in the indoor pool area and it was in the low 50’s - 40’s. Very cold in indoor pool area! Chose this hotel so the grandkids could swim in December.

Me and my family just went down a few day to go to the beach

I booked this room as a stop on our way to Disney World. I called on the way to our hotel to let them know we'd be in late and our reservation had been CANCELLED. Neither Orbitz nor I had cancelled the booking (I checked) and the clerk said their computer system had recently been updated and may have been to blame. She was able to get us a room and the hotel stay itself was fine. HOWEVER, several days into our vacation we found a $350 charge from this hotel on our bank account. I had asked for the room to be held on my credit card, then paid for the room on my debit card. They charged the credit card for the room and then charged the debit card $350. After MULTIPLE calls to the manager, who denied they had cancelled my room and INSISTED the charge was not made and that I was somehow in error, it was discovered that SHE had checked me out and charged the room to my credit card and charged SOMEONE ELSE'S ROOM to my debit card! She is supposedly fixing the charges but no extra efforts to make up for this HUGE mistake have been made. We will NEVER stay here again and will be leaving this negative review wherever we can to serve as warming to others.

Room smelled. The employees (other than front desk) weren't very helpful

Bathtub was stained, paint on the walls. Whoever painted the baseboard got the paint on wall in bathroom Breakfast was ???. There was sausage patties and egg patties. My husband had 1 of each. Said they were ice cold. He saw there was a microwave behind the counter where the hotel employee was microwaving the frozen patties, so he asked her to reheat hers. The sad part is she was eating and she was warming the food....not exactly appetizing.
