The house itself was very nice, but for the amount we spent, we expected a better overall experience. One of the main reasons we chose this property was the pool. The listing stated that it was heated, and there was no option during the reservation process to indicate whether we wanted it heated. When we arrived on Wednesday evening, the pool was not heated. Because of the Thanksgiving holiday, I was unable to reach Harris until Friday morning, and working with the property management company to resolve the issue was frustrating. I understand this may not seem like a big deal, but we have kids who talked about the pool the entire way there and were looking forward to it. There were also a few discrepancies in the listing. While small, these details were part of what made this home stand out among our options. The listing states that one of the rooms has two sets of bunk beds, but there is only one. It also mentions that the house has games, but there weren’t any. Additionally, the house was missing a few basic comfort items, such as extra blankets and even a couple of coffee filters for the first morning. One more issue worth noting is that the sliding door leading to the deck is difficult to open and close and appears to need maintenance.
