We arrived at 9:30 pm and had no trouble checking in. The room we stayed in had been recently remodeled so the floors were new, the paint was new, and the bathroom had also been re-done. The towels were a little thread bare and the beds were too hard for our 60+ year old bodies but generally we were ...
Great looking hotel inside and out. The room was huge with three beds (a king and two twins) for only two of us. Clean room and bathroom. We visited in the winter and it was a bit cold and we couldn't figure out how to turn the heat up in the room. Since it's a bed and breakfast, we couldn't call/ask ...
Room was filthy!! So bad I took pictures to sent to orbitz. They have no business charging anything to stay there much less &80! Moldy torn shower curtain, cracked beat up lamp shades, brown stuff all over the walls, dried milk on end table, hair inside pillow case,I could go on and on!!
The owner greeted us and was able to give us early check in. Our room was small but very clean. Plenty of towels and a fridge and coffee machine. The heater is quite loud, but did its job. The grounds are well landscaped and it is a short walk to town.
This is the second time that we stay at this hotel. We had a really great experience the first time we stayed here so we decided to stay here again for our 4th of July Family Trip. The facility and staff are great however the cleanliness of the room, blankets and pillow cases were terrible this time. The first room that they assigned us to smelled like cigarette smoke although it is a smoke free hotel. The second room that we got, the sofa mattress were very dirty and they did not provide us with mattress cover or blanket for the sofa mattress. The pillows provided were dirty with stains and make up and another pillow had no case. I called the front desk so they asked me to pick up the bedding bag for the sofa mattress downstairs at the check in counter. When I got back to our room, I opened the bedding bag and the blanket was dirty too with stains and make up. So I had to call back to ask for a clean blanket for my kids so they send me downstairs again to pick up a clean blanket at the check in counter. Overall was a good stay but I was disappointed at the cleanliness of the bedding. It was unpleasant dealing with that after a long drive.
How would you like to wake up every morning to the local police department harassing people in the same hotel. Every morning....
The room was very clean. Bed & furniture were comfortable. Hotel was in walking distance to several very good restaurants. Breakfast was ok, more like continental.
