Basic, clean room, very quiet location. Good price, seems to be American owned and operated which is rare these days. Staff friendly and informative. Bed, pillows comfortable, good water pressure. Internet worked just fine. Will definitely stay at the Northern Queen Inn again.

Everyone might not agree this is a 4/5 as the facilities are older, but my husband and I like the rustic/older feel. The surrounding nature/scenery was beautiful with the creek and small waterfall. Close to downtown. We stayed in one of the cabins and we liked having our own space but the the bathroom was very dated and the fireplace didn’t work.

The experience from check-in set the stage for the rest of the visit. Had to wait in line only to be told twice that the room wasn't ready. So had to check in an hour late. There was only one person working at the desk which seems ridiculous on a holiday weekend. The room was old dated and musty. The towels were like a motel 6 towel. There was no blanket in the room to use on the bed in the winter weather. The shower was difficult to turn on and off. There was no coffee pot in the coffee maker. The couch was stained and lumpy and impossible to sit in without sinking in the middle.This is basically a motel 6 in a very beautiful setting. Good for somewhere just to lay your head. And it was quiet.

Our room was clean and adequate. The restaurant was closed. Served light breakfast Sat and Sun. The whole facilities are run down and need a lot of attention. Too bad as you can tell it was gorgeous when new and fully operational. Probably would not stay again.

“Great Staff, Rough Stay” My room wasn’t ready at check-in, and when I finally got in, it was still dirty. There was also no internet the entire time. The staff were the only good part of the experience—they were helpful and kind despite everything else not working.

The carpet in the room was disgusting. My feet turned black after walking barefoot in the room. Under the bed was disgusting and not cleaned. Coffee maker not cleaned out. The grounds were scenic but the rooms are very dirty.

Lovely grounds and super close to town - nice easy walk. Accommodation was perfectly acceptable for what I paid - rooms are looking a little tired and could do with a little update - no issues here. However, I arrived a 2.10pm, after a 3 hour drive and was informed check in was at 3pm - parking lot had 4 cars - hotel was empty. For 27 ish bucks I could check in right now - my room was ready to go I was informed. I declined and waited outside for 50 mins. For this reason alone I will never stay here again! Other than that - the overall stay was perfectly fine

The. Chalet and patio were spacious. Lots of room for a very reasonable price! The kitchen had nothing to use for food prep or serving. Breakfast on the weekend was solid and the grounds were scenic. Would stay Again.

The area is very nice and beautiful. I do not recommend staying at this place. When I first got in, I inspected my room and I found a pair of boxers in the bathroom on the floor. The water pressure in the shower was horrible, it barley has water coming out of the shower head. I literally had to crouch under the shower head to shower. Half of the power outlets stopped working and I almost had the contents in my refrigerator go bad. I had to call the front desk to reset the breaker. In the room that my other family members were in, the headboard fell out of the wall when gently pushing the mattress against the wall. Their bathroom door was a sliding door and the door got stuck because it came off the track and I had a family member stuck in the bathroom for almsot half an hour. In that room there was a huge knot under the carpet that made us all almost trip multiple times. Roomservice never came to clean during our stay.dhousekeeping. We will not be staying here again.
