Called room service and housekeeping a total of 6 six times. 5 times all was taken care of or delivered with in 10 minutes, but one call took about 4 hours for 2 sets of towels. If there are five people on the reservation, ...

Always wanted to try this hotel and I am glad I did. The staff was wonderful and helpful. I loved the Don the bartender-very attentive and courteous. It is an older hotel that has been rehabbed. It is a very European boutique hotel. A lot of bang for your buck.

I appreciated the spacious (older but well maintained) rooms. clean. good beds. fridge and coffee maker, desk etc. functional business office with free printer. neighborhood seems fine during daylight hours. night is a greater concern. local italian restaruant 0.4 miles away. not much else around there. stayed there attending a meeting in the area and was a good choice for me.
I chose the Hyatt because of 4 things. 1. The rate was a great value. 2. Considering the amount other hotels were charging for the parking, the combined price of the room and parking made the price a bargain. 3. This is a 4 star hotel and the quality of the room was excellent. 4. The hotel is attached to the convention center and the convenience of not having to drive to the auto show was very relaxing. The hotel put a notice under the door the evening before check out that there was a large number of check outs the next morning and to please observe the 12:00 check out time and use online or in room check out if possible. Bit, they let you know on this notice to hold onto your room key and if parked in the garage, you could remain parked there at no additional charge until 8:00pm. This worked out great for me as I didn't have to worry about moving my car until I left Chicago to head home. Excellent stay.
Very nice hotel - room was perfect for us, location was good, and one of the best hotel breakfast choices I’ve seen.
Love the location! Close to restaurants and sight seeing!
