Property was quiet and clean and very good location for food and shopping.

Great View and Great experience

The staff was super friendly and helpful. They let us check in early and held our bags after we had checked out. Lots of stuff around the hotel and the metro was close.

The Staff was really nice and responsive.

The view was absolutely amazing and I feel like we got the full “Chicago” feel. Easy parking on the street, right by a Whole Foods. The shower was also amazing - rain shower with additional attachment.

When we arrived for our hotel stay there was one person in front of us. We stood there for 20 minutes while the person at the desk kept talking about everything under the sun with the other guest like we weren’t standing right there waiting. We were tired from traveling, and just wanted to get checked in, and go to our room. It took way too long to get checked in. The next day I went to use the iron in the room and it leaked all over my dress clothes that I needed to wear that day soaking my clothes thus making me late for where I was going. You can tell it had been dropped before because the bottom corner of the plastic was broken off and missing. For as much as I paid to stay there I shouldn’t of had to deal with any of that. As of right now I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone.

Excellent hotel and friendly staff

As a chicago native I can tell you this is a great location. For the price, I can’t believe the level of poor service or the type of characters it attracts. Upon check in, they didn’t have any rooms with double beds available. There’s 3 of us and it was on the reservation. They offered me water for the inconvenience and a “upgraded junior suite” bc it has a sofa bed for our 3rd person. Let’s talk about this JR suite- has 2 balconies, can’t open the door to either. We blasted the heat to 80 degrees because the hotel ceiling is literal concrete- there’s no insulation in the place, we still froze our butts off. On our last night staying here, there were roughly 9 cops in the lobby as we walked in for the night. I asked what was wrong and they told me they’re doing a “routine inspection”. At 11pm?? Stay away!

The property has no amenities and it's looking ran down

The pictures on the website are a misrepresentation of the actual rooms. We paid to stay in the Junior Suite because it looked well lit with two balconies. When we got there, one of the lights was not working, the phone had not been dusted in days, it was 11 am and we could not see in the room. It must be a tactic to not have to clean so well and hide some of the dirt. They must have something against a well lit place because all the rooms were dark. I asked the front desk and she was very nice about it, but told me all the rooms were the same and a room with better lighting would be a downgrade (about $600 less than we paid) but we couldnt get money back. We took the downgrade to the panoramic view because even though it was way smaller, it was a better room, at least during day time. The walls and doors are paper-thin and you can clearly hear from the outside hallway everything that it is being talked about inside the room. The rooms are supposed to be smoke-free, including marijuana, however it smelled like pure weed everywhere. The hotel is supposed to be no pets allowed. I love dogs, however I have a severe allergy to them to the point that I can’t breath in some cases, so we booked our stay here with that in mind. We saw at least 2 dogs during our stay. When I called the front desk they said that one of them was a service dog (which I understood and tried to stay away from) but the other one must have been hidden. I guess they needed the money and allowed it to stay.

Bar and restaurant were close and it did not state that when I made the reservation. Very inconvenient.

Check in was painful, with à gazillion of forms to sign (no party, no Gun, no smoking, no ..) I was expecting an important package and front desk stated it wasn’t delivered. After checking with delivery service, it turned out it was there all along, but stocked somewhere.. All dining and bar facilities were closed (it’s probably time to let go of Covid as the universal replacement for thé 90’s « the computer did it ». Rooms were ok but tiring. Bedding was nothing worth noting, pillows were uniformly too soft All in all nothing terrible, but nothing that would make me come back.

Great surrounding area and spa is amazing👍

Location was great. I would definitely stay here again. We stayed in a junior suite and it was nice and cozy. The hotel was clean. We also had spa services and it was also very nice and clean.
