We were stopping through on our way to Orlando and needed a place to stay. We stopped here and were lucky they had a room available for our family of four. We were pleasantly surprised to go into our one bedroom suite and find the room to be extremely clean and spacious. The bed was very comfortable and the staff was very friendly and helpful upon arrival.
Nice hotel, excellent location as it is very near both the Daytona Airport as well as very close to Daytona International Speedway. The bed was very comfortable, remarkably so. Buffet breakfast (not complimentary) was very good although a bit pricey at $10.95. The suite room was nice but dimly lit, especially over the wet bar area, which I found strange. Mini-fridge, microwave, and Keurig. The huge detriment here was that the wifi was absolutely horrible, probably worse than any other hotel I've stayed in worldwide. The wireless would connect for about 5 minutes then disconnect. There was also a WIRED connection at the desk in the room but after trying it, I found that connection was not active and did not work. I called the front desk about it, they had the service provider call me, who identified a problem they would need to send someone out for. The next evening, exactly the same problem, the service provider had closed the ticket for no reason, and the wifi still blows as much as it did the previous day. I would not stay here again for that reason alone, this property's wifi provider is taking them for a major ride and they don't see it, there are far too many other choices to put up with something that is a basic requirement for business travel.
Clean rooms, efficient front desk and great breakfast! Will be back next year to stay. Thank you for the comfortable accommodations! Breakfast was great, well worth the price. Staff was extremely nice from Front desk to housekeeping to the restaurant.
Staff was friendly, the rooms were clean and the breakfast was great !! Everyone was very welcoming and they offer complimentary coffee to all guest which was a plus!! We be coming back if I’m Ever in that area
The hotel sits adjacent to the race track, the airport, and the aeronautical college. Nevertheless it is very quiet at night and even during the daytime when I needed to sleep due my work schedule. Like nearly every Hilton Garden Inn I've visited, I found it clean, very ably managed, pleasant. The staff were helpful and attentive. All those little things that you take for granted unless they're missing, all the things that add up to "we know how to run this hotel"
This hotel is convenient to the airport. I got to stay coming and going. I found the rooms clean quiet and very well furnished. The pool and hot tub are nice. The staff was exceptionally friendly. The restaurant had a full breakfast service with good food.
My husband and I arrived about 11:30 p.m. from a 9 hour drive and were exhausted. We basically got there and jumped in bed. When we woke up in the morning I noticed that our sheets didn't look clean. The carpeting was dirty. The bathroom was dirty and dusty. There was mold in areas in the shower and the vent in the bathroom was so disgusting. The tub looked like it had not been cleaned in a while. The counter in the bathroom was dirty- dusty. When I looked under the bed to make sure I had not left anything I saw an empty bottle of Gatorade under our bed. Normally In a situation like this I would have already advised management but we headed to Ormond Beach for some business and had another five hour drive after that. We did have breakfast at the Hilton Garden the guy making the omelette was very nice and our waitress very attentive. The food was good. We had someone come by and ask us how everything was while eating and we just nodded because we were in the middle of eating and either way had to get going. Everyone was very nice and waved at us and the girl in the front checked us out quickly. Pros: Friendly morning staff Cons: Carpeting in the Hotel was dirty and our room was just gross. We try to use Hilton Garden and acquire points and one of the distinct things we live is normally how great and fresh they smell. This one did not have a bad smell but it didn't have that clean fresh scent either. I enclosed a few photos that I took before rushing out.
The decor in the lobby is dirty, dingy and old. The lobby really needs redecorating. The pool is nice, but the pool towels are large, threadbare, dingy washcloths. The rooms are quiet, though. Hotel is convenient to Embry-Riddle and mall.
Very nice, clean hotel. The staff is very friendly, and helpful if you have any questions, just be cautious the breakfast is a little misleading but no matter what you eat it's all 10.95 even for cereal
As we were checking in, the staff make the guests aware that there would be a loss of power, limited food and water. All guests sign a form stating that there would be loss of power due to hurricane Irma. So it was up to the guests if they wanted to check in or not. We were advised to make sure we went to the store to get our own supplies as the restaurant had limited supplies. The staff was very knowledgeable and courteous.
