Wow, never have i been greated with such an outgoing young gal. She really made my night special after a long day on the road. I am a road warrior and this service is an exception. Recognized my frequent travel status right off the bat which is nice.
Lisa from the front desk greets me with a smile in the mornings. Anabel has a smile and I get a great breakfast. Super job ladies. I enjoy the new managers reception on Tuesday and Wednesday's. I'm a regular on both nights.
I always stay at this hotel for business travels. The staff there is so accommodating, fun, and friendly. Shout out to my two favorites: Khadesha and Josh, you two are awesome!! Thank you for everything!
Great place to stay, tremendous Manager’s Happy Hour! Baked potato bar with all the toppings, beer and wine! Oh, the cookies made my day too! No reason to leave the hotel at night! Plan your next stay here.
We stayed here twice in one week, going and returning from a trip west. It was evident from the care of the landscape and the cleanliness of the parking area that this was going to be a good hotel. And it was! Everything about it, the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff, the comfortable and clean room, the breakfast bar were excellent.
An AMC movie theatre next door, ruby Tuesday across the street, very comfy bed, quiet location, clean and comfortable rooms, wonderful shower, great price and great free breakfast! What else can you ask for! Coming back!!
Although some changes have been going on at this hotel, the Staff continues to do an Amazing job. My room is always clean upon arrival, and the exterior and public areas of this hotel, are well kept. Kelly does a great job! The front desk staff treat you like family, and it is always nice to see Cindy's smiling face, or have conversation with Linda about where to eat or what to do. I was saddened to see Jo no longer here, as one could tell she really LOVED her job, but sometimes change is good. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the Omaha/Council Bluffs area.
The staff here was nice. Our room key would not let us in the building or our room multiple times. We kept having to go to the front desk and they kept having to try and help us. Said it had to do with the electrical something or other. Staff tried to let us into the building, but their keys wouldn't work either. Room was nice. Breakfast was horrible. I have stayed at several Holiday Inns and the breakfast is usually quite good. The only good thing about this breakfast was the pancake machine. We got down there at 9:20 a.m. (breakfast was until 10:00 a.m.) and there was very little food left and they said they weren't refilling anything. What was left was cold and gross. Biscuits are usually kept in a warmer, but the one that was left was with the bagels and they were hard as a rock and cold. Definitely not worth the money you paid.
We stayed at this Holiday Inn Express on a Friday night. Upon arrival, we found the parking lots on three sides of the hotel plus the entrance blocked off due to repaving. Upon check in, I asked twice if where I was parked was OK and the clerk said yes. The next morning as I went to the car for an item, I noticed the hotel manager talking to an employee in the parking lot. After getting into my car, the employee approached and asked if I was leaving as they were going to tow my car and numerous others! I told him I was told to park where I was at to which he replied "that was a mistake" and that I should move to the movie theater a quarter mile away. He said it was "management's decision" to have multiple cars towed even though we'd been instructed to park where we did. Given it was the solar eclipse weekend, the hotel was packed and several people simply went thru the barriers and parked in the freshly paved lots. It obviously was poor management who decided to pave over 75% of the parking lots on a busy Friday night compounded by poor communications and threats to the customers. Bottom line is this hotel is poorly run and it shows with poor customer service and the declining hotel accommodations.
Would recommend this hotel to anyone coming to the Omaha area. Staff is friendly, rooms are clean and comfortable, there is an indoor pool and hot tub and free breakfast. It is close to many area attraction (within 5 miles) and there are restaurants and a movie theater and go karts within walking distance.
