Nice lobby, decent pool, beautiful courtyard. Rooms were fine, nothing special, but the beds were comfortable. The room was clean. The carpet looked a little worse for the wear, which gave the whole place an older look, but otherwise, we had a fine stay. Maintenance was responsive when the toilet needed fixed.
Stayed here for work. It's a good hotel, spacy and clean rooms, the rooms are reasonably quiet too. No buffet breakfast but you can order from a decent variety of options. In the area there's a small shopping center with a Kroger and some fast food options.
We spent the weekend at the Courtyard Marriott in the historic Dublin, Ohio area. This is our third stay at this hotel. It’s a very nice, clean, user-friendly hotel with a great restaurant and accommodating staff. We were upgraded to a suite which was wonderful. A separate bedroom with a second tv was perfect for us and we had a microwave and fridge to store our leftovers from dinner. The area is packed with any and every restaurant you could ask for and the Tuttle Creek Mall is a short ten-minute drive away. All in all, a lovely weekend in a lovely town. Looking forward to next year.
The pros: Staff was very friendly and welcoming. The room and property were very clean - thank you! The cons: The snacks at the snack center are ridiculously overpriced so bring your own. Mattress was ok, kind of lumpy. The biggest problem was that there is a lack of noise insulation at this property. Every door that slams, and they slam hard, is very loud and very easily heard in your room. Even within the room, you can very clearly hear the “noises” from the bathroom very easily. No breakfast is included in the room rate which is surprising because the room rate seems to be higher than the average rate across the hotel chains that do include breakfast and have similar rooms.
This is a lovely hotel. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a first floor room next to the highway but we didn't notice the traffic noise at all. Our room was clean and big! The beds and pillows were very comfortable. When I made our reservation I upgraded to the free breakfast. My goodness was the food good and plenty of it, although I will say that their prices are a bit high. We had free Wifi and even though they offer a better connection for $4.95 a day, we didn't it. The hotel is close to shopping and plenty of restaurants but they aren't really within walking distance but the drive was a short one. Over all this was a very enjoyable stay and visit to Dublin.
I recently stayed 2 nights at the Courtyard by Marriott in Dublin, OH. I normally stay at the larger Marriott in Dublin, but it was really expensive for some reason during my recent visit and chose the Courtyard instead. The hotel is located close to the highway and near many shops and restaurants, although most are driving and not walking distance. My check in was fast given I did an Mobile Check-In. I was recognized as a Platinum Elite member and offered a choice of $10 FB credit or points. I chose the food credit so I could get breakfast. More on that later. My room was on the 2nd floor, and like many older style Courtyard hotels this one is a pain to get to your room. You need to move your car to a rear entrance, and even then it was a hike to find my room. The room is like an older style motel that has been renovated. It was large and clean with a big king bed, work desk, and closet near the sink. I always hate when the sink is outside of the bathroom with carpet in front of it. Nothing worse than wet feet on carpet when you're shaving in the morning!! There were plenty of outlets and the wifi was fast and free. I had some issues with the TV in the room. The first day it wasn't working properly, but they got it fixed while I was out the next day. I was disappointed to not find Marriott's upgraded TVs with built in Netflix. I do have to say that I slept great, and found the bed and pillows above average comfortable. In the morning, I had a few small issues. The hot water in the sink didn't come out very strong or hot which made it hard to shave, and I really didn't find the shower head powerful enough. In the morning the brekfast area is very busy, but they move things along quick, but it did take a while for food to come out. I still don't understand Courtyard's new policy for Platinum member breakfasts. I was given 1 coupon for a $10 FB credit, but when I went to use it they told me first I only get one coupon and to tell them the next day I am a Platinum member. Weird?? And then she said "Oh don't worry you get free breakfast anyway". So what's that? Is it a credit or free breakfast? I did have eggs fruit and coffee each morning and no charges were on my bill so I am very confused. Overall, given the price paid I'd say this was a perfectly average stay. Clean and comfortable, but not great. I still think I will go back to the larger Marriott hotel with their M-Club my next stay in town.
Supper friendly staff, no matter who I ran into they always said hi, were helpful and friendly. The room was nice but very noisy. Would not stay here again unless I could be guaranteed to be in a room away from the highway.
Hotel exterior is shabby but inside has been remodeled. Rooms are very nice. Beds comfy. Clean. TV selection is horrible for a large city hotel. Have stayed other places close by with better channel selection. Front staff very friendly. Prefer walk in showers.
I have visited this hotel 2 times and both times with a great view on the courtyard. It does not matter what the question is, everything is handled with care and attention. All staff is very kind and service minded. I am looking forward visiting this hotel again in November.
With the craziness of life, I forgot to book my room. When I got to the Hotel, Russell was kind enough to assist me as well as put me in a room near my friend. Also, there was a local tournament so the Hotel was full of children. The staff did a great job keeping the kids quite after a certain hour. Kudos to the staff and management.
