Amazing location but rooms need serious updates

Loved the river view. Room and bed was quite comfy. Very pleasant staff. Noticed lack of maid service and lack of upkeep on the property itself.

Due to staff shortage rooms weren’t available when we arrived. Breakfast was too expensive for what they served. Location and beach were great. Room was very nice. Pool was nice. Would stay again.

We loved the easy access to room on first floor. Door to outside made it convenient to get to car. We loved refrigerator and microwave. We loved the deep tub, deeper than normal. We didn’t love that the tub was not clean. So we couldn’t use it. No access to cleaning products to clean it myself. I didn’t bring a blow dryer this time because hotels usually have them. No blow dryer in this room. We thought our deal with Orbitz included breakfast. When we checked in, they said no. But because we had no blow dryer and dirty tub, at check out she gave us two complimentary breakfasts. So that was kind.

The rooms have really aged and worn out since the last time I was there. For $250 I thought I would get a room with a view of the lake.

Room 104 was very shabby, the sheets had holes and tile was crumbling around the toilet. But it was clean and the bed was fairly comfortable, so it was ok overall. Was it worth the price? No, but there's not much else in Post Falls.

The River.

We stayed there Saturday night. When we got in, the lobby was nice, clean and remodeled. However, it took about 15 minutes for someone to to come to the desk to check us in. We were not the only ones waiting in line. The couple in front of us got an upgrade but not us. Walking down the hallway to our room was dark and dirty. Our room was clean but in need of a severe remodel. There were only two servers in the bar/restaurant and they were totally overrun. They had a giant private birthday party, another table of about 25, us and another couple at the bar and two other dining tables. No help came and service was so slow. Luckily they were pretty nice.

Great location, very nice staff, competitive pricing, convenient for pets having outside opening rooms. . Aging facility maintenance-wise and no frills in-room amenities. Cold indoor pool, spa not working during my visit.

I liked the location, the area/views were beautiful. I did not care for some of the repairs that were neglected--the bathroom door in our room had a huge hole in it and the pool area was very unappealing.

I was disappointed that there was no complimentary breakfast, with what i paid there should be, less expensive hotels have it. Ice macnine was not working in the summer ice is important

The view from the restraunt is amazing and the food is great. The smoke alarm went off multiple times after midnight. Couldn't get any sleep it was so loud between the alarm and doors slaming.

It was on the river. I had a great river view. Free breakfast was very good, it did take a lot of time from when we ordered to it being delivered. Waitress Elisha was great. The property interior needs massive updating. Bad carpet.

I stayed in the wheelchair accessible room 329. The bathroom did not have a vanity, just a pedestal sink, so it was very inconvenient to bring one item into the bathroom at a time, since there wasn't a place to set things. The mirror is the bathroom hangs at an alarming angle, and the toilet paper holder is broken. The toilet paper is instead balanced on a narrow ledge, and of course it fell off and rolled onto the ground. The mattress was comfortable, however, the sheets were pilly and very scratchy. They should have been replaced a few years ago. The price was very reasonable so you get what you paid for, I suppose.

The property was very run down. You could tell it was bought by a chain company and they just slapped a little bit of cosmetic lipstick to call it good. At the time of our check in I was informed there was a TV update, and staff told me it was in working condition. That was not the case. I attempted numerous times to fix the issue myself, because by the time staff offered to come to our room to help with the issues it was very late and my children where already asleep. The only good thing about our stay was the nice river view, but the experience itself was awful and one of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed in.

Great location near river with beautiful view (from upgraded room). Hotel did not publish updated info about breakfast availablility. They advertised a free, hot breakfast but when we arrived that was not available. Also espresso machine in lobby was broken, workout room was dirty, and there were no coffee makers in rooms - but always hot coffee/water in lobby.
