Easy in and out... Just a great place to stay when your in Cleveland, Ohio.....

Hotel seemed a bit run-down. I think it's due for a remodel. We stayed one night each on a trip back and forth across the upper Mid-west. I like that they accept pets and do not charge an extra fee. A huge plus for those of us traveling with our pets. My biggest knock against La Quinta is the quality of their breakfasts. They need to add just a few more hot food options for the morning; such as eggs, sausage or bacon,etc...

As soon as i entered the room i went back to the lobby to tell hotel staff that it was the cleanest room i had stayed in a long time.

GOOD: You get chocolate brownie cookies and a bottled water in a gift bag on arrival. PET FRIENDLY rooms available. NO SMOKE SMELL. My allergies did nit act up. BEDS AND SHEETS SUPER COZY. Dennys and a steak restaurant 1 block away. Ample parking, covered unoading area, baggage cart, vending and ice on floor 2. TV has thise moonlit ocean wave screen saver and ocean wave noice that is already on when you walk in so it is a neat welcome and you can leave it on all night if you want but it does light up room in a blue hue. All of the desk staff was nice. Night desk lady noticed Orbitz mistake and changed it. English Muffins, Bananas, Apples, Apple and Orange Juice, Water and microwave for tea, ans the oatmeal packets. NEEDS IMPROVEMENT: Orbitz put 1 bed and no kid in room tho I chose those options. You have to unplug the lamps or clock to plug in a phone cord by the bed. Night table too small for 2 peoples things, and so they put the landline phone over by the desk area so you have to get up and walk 2the desk to call the front desk. Breakfast eggs are boiled; no cereal. waffle batter tastes horrible, breakfast lady needs anxiety meds, she starts cleaning it all up 10min prior to close and she gets upset when you ask for something she put away like sugar or a cup. Bathroom floor needs grout cleaned and may be too small for a person over 180lbs and definitely NOT wheelchair accessible.

The La Quinta is well situated on Rockside Road. It's a typical La Quinta and isn't too old but not new. Same continental breakfast with the waffle machine as all locations. The WiFi is very good actually. Across the parking lot is a typical suburban sports bar called the Winking Lizard. Ok food and good beer selection. It is what it is but for the right price gets the job done.

The entire hotel smelled like an ashtray. We booked this hotel room last minute due to a change in our travel plans. My partner and I hate the smell of cigarettes, so we requested a non-smoking room. Although we were told the room was non-smoking, it reeked of smoke so bad I could barely breathe.

Great front desk staff. The facilities seemed a little old. The carpet had that weird quality where it seems a little dirty and you don't want to walk on it barefoot. My room had a slight mildew smell emanating from the bathroom. It was also quite a small room. But the bed was very comfortable and clean. Overall, I have stayed at better La Quintas, but this one will do the job.

Great WiFi compared to other big name hotel chains. Location was near a lot of shopping and restaurants.

My online reservation was for a King bed however; due to over-booking per the front desk personnel, I received a Full bed in a handicap room. The room was spacious but no closet to hang up our clothes.

The hotel met all my needs and was clean. Great value for the price.

The hotel fulfilled my needs. It would have been nice for an exercise room to be there. Also, I would have liked a refrigerator in the room.

Booked this room for a last minute business trip. They have everything you need to get through a week of unexpected travel.

The hotel was clean. The staff was pleasant. We did want a non smoking room. We were put in a smoking room. We asked to be moved and were advised they were booked solid. They did put an ozone machine in the room to deodorize the room. It did help, but in the morning you could smell the smoke again.

nice hotel, restaurant across parking lot, pleasant staff, clean room

It was a very nice hotel. Loved the smoking rooms. Staff was great. The light breakfast was nice. Will stay there again.

My stay was just ok because I only stayed for one night. The location was great, not far from downtown Cleveland, and the staff was fine, but I had booked a non-smoking room, which I received, but it was very clear that the room had been smoked in before and then just had been designated later as a non-smoking room, probably to accommodate more people once a lot of establishments had moved to non-smoking friendly. The room was also a little outdated and not the cleanest, and the walls were paper thin. My room adjoined with the one next to it, which I assume is how all the rooms are there, and I could hear the neighbor's tv running all night which made it difficult to sleep as well as the lack of curtains in my room that let the flood lights outside in the parking lot flow through to keep me up for the majority of the night. All in all, my stay was ok, but only because I stayed for just one night. I definitely would not recommend this hotel for more than a weekend stay.

Close to main highway, close to lots of restaurants, good value

If you are looking to have a great value, then this is your place to stay. Nothing fancy. The room was very basic. Everything worked. But it is an "older" hotel and gives you the feel of old. The water pressure in the shower was not great but did the job. The beds were satisfactory. The iron was horrible. Barely warmed up. Overall, it was a good price. You get what you pay for. There are other hotels on the same street that offer a much better level of quality.

This hotel was what I would expect for the price. It's a decent place to crash if you are in town for a night. I was out late and left early the next morning, so it was good enough for me. Very convenient access to the freeway from the hotel location which was a nice plus. Staff was friendly. Breakfast smelled good, but I didn't bother eating there. I opted for Starbucks down the road.

The room was clean and the location was perfect for my stay. The lady at the counter was amazing. I was a little bit drunk...no i was wasted....and she helped me through everything. She got me to a restaurant to get food, got me a cell phone charger and even walked me to my roon to make sure i was okay. Its very appreciated!
