Called hotel day before to request the 2 rooms I booked to be together (my sister needs some assistance) was told they couldn't access the orbitz booking; also "rooms are assigned at checkin". So at checkin I am given 2 rooms on different floors!! I objected and was told "all the rooms are preassigned". That's a terrible way to treat your guests!!! I persisted and got 2 rooms next to each other but it should have been easier . Also didn't appreciate being lied to. The hotel is very comfortable but their reservations/front desk area needs to be more customer friendly.

I enjoyed my stay here. The staff was one of the best I experienced in a while. Every single person I saw acknowledged me. I will absolutely stay here again.

We stayed at this hotel for the location next to the park, which is the start of the Chicago Marathon, and the hotel was beautiful! the location within the center of town is next to everything you want to see. the hotel is clean and the pool/work out room on the 42 floor has a view that's insane! We had the king suite on the 10th floor which was huge and in the corner with views on one side looking at Buckingham fountain & the park....and the other side over the river looking out twords lake Michigan. The staff was the best with anything you needed and couldn't ask for more! I would stay here every time i visit Chicago!

Our second night house keeping gave us dirty sheets. We called for clean sheets n they dropped them off. It was after hours when we cameback n noticed so we had to change them. Tv service kept going in and out.

The Swissotel is a top class Hotel. We had one of the best, most relaxing get away my wife and I have ever experienced. The Staff was top notch, plus extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and caring. The room was very clean and relaxing. The view was a moving, relaxing picture right from Norman Rockwell - WOW! The river, the city, and the lake came to life before your eyes. The elevator system was modern and fast. The location is the best in the city. The hotel is within walking distance from all Chicago offers and most just out the back door. The hotel restaurants all served excellent dishes. We will return again and again.

We very much enjoyed our stay. The hotel location was excellent, close to everything -- Millenium Park, Art Institute, shopping, restaurants, etc. Pool/spa on the 42nd floor with excellent view of downtown and the lake. We would definitely stay again.

The words I'd use to describe the Swissotel are Beautiful, comfortable & convenient! You are close to the Riverwalk, Navy Pier and Subway. From the Swissotel it's so easy to get anywhere. Downtown Chicago is at your reach when you stay at there! The Staff is so accommodating. They go out of their way to make your stay a wonderful one. We had a great time & will definitely stay again!!

The hotel front desk was disorganized and staff seemed poorly trained. Room was not ready on time - could not tell me when my room would be ready... After 20 minutes of standing around, I asked for complimentary drink tickets and was provided with two - one for myself and my wife. Room was ready nearly 1 hour late. The gentleman trying to help me did not know how to run a credit card and insisted my credit card was bad - very uncomfortable! I provided another cc and gentleman said it was bad as well. I insisted both were fine. I checked email and there were no notifications from my card company. Then a hotel manager ran my cc and all was fine - my check-in was completed... nearly 1.5 hours after it should have been.

Everything was so great! Would go back often terrific location and hotel staff excellent

my experience was great customer service was on point on everything .I will defiantly recommend the swissotel.

I guess this hotel only wants to recipients regular customers as they do not offer to include wifi with the regular rate.

The room was immaculate, the staff very polite and the view was spectacular, would definitely recommend this hotel

no free water, no toothbrush, no slipper, no internet. U have to purchase everything u need

amazing chicago marathon stay!

We stayed at this hotel for the location next to the park, which is the start of the Chicago Marathon, and the hotel was beautiful! the location within the center of town is next to everything you want to see. the hotel is clean and the pool/work out room on the 42 floor has a view that's insane! We had the king suite on the 10th floor which was huge and in the corner with views on one side looking at Buckingham fountain & the park....and the other side over the river looking out twords lake Michigan. The staff was the best with anything you needed and couldn't ask for more! I would stay here every time i visit Chicago!
