A group of us went to Chicago but stayed at four different hotels. I got the best place for the money. As a matter of fact, we are planning to have our group stay here next year. It boasts a very roomy suite consisting of a living room, full kitchen, bedroom with a comfortable king size bed and lots of closet/storage space. The suite was immaculate. It's very unusual to have a perfectly cleaned room in hotels, but this was. Our toilet was broken (the water kept running) and they came to fix it right away. We went to make coffee, but the coffee pot was missing the cover, so they gave us a whole new coffee maker. The staff was very friendly and desired for us to be happy we choose Sonesta but . The breakfasts were large. They rotated the menu each day. It always included some kind of egg (scrambled or omelets), a meat, French toast or waffles, hard boiled eggs and various pastries, yogurt, cereals, etc. They also have a social hour a few nights a week and serve things such as soup and salad. (We were not able to attend that, but it is a nice amenity.) In the court yard there are two gas grills if you want to cook out. My only suggestion is to have free coffee available in the lobby 24/7. You can purchase it, but usually hotels offer free coffee throughout the day.

I late in the evening, exhausted after much travel and long work meetings. The person at the desk was kind and went above and beyond without being asked. I was scheduled for a 3rd floor room and he upgraded me to a 1st floor room. This was my second stay at this hotel. The rooms have been clean and comfortable each time, with all the comforts of home. My only criticism is that both times certain areas of the rooms smelled of cigarette smoke - likely from years past. I would stay here again without hesitation.

Wonderful hotel. Great Location. Highly recommended.

Always clean, great breakfast menu, spacious rooms

I only stay in this hotel in the area. It got better with some renovation on the reception. I will visit again with families.

We needed a room that would be roomy enough for 5 people without paying an arm and a leg. The hotel was perfect! We had plenty of room to spread out. We shopped in the Lincoln Park area and downtown.

We stayed for a total of six days five nights. We where up and around the whole time so close to downtown you have the mall and plenty of places to eat. Very comfortable for a family. The breakfast was very good as well.

Very nice accommodations, close to all of the necessities you may need while traveling. Super friendly staff. Short drive o downtown Chicago.

Great location, easy access to highways. Rooms were comfy and my kids enjoyed the pool and the basket court. Our room was out of shower, we requested but they never sent someone to refill. The wife was very upset however they gave those smaller bottles. Over all not such a bad experience but they did Wow us.

Great place. Friendly staff, clean rooms and good breakfast. Lots of options for activities and dining nearby. Took us about 45 minutes to get into Chicago via short drive to CTA station and train ride.

The hotel was under going remodeling while I was there, so not many sidewalks open to get to/from lobby, rec, and pool areas. Wish the pool hours were expanded for business traveler use in early am. Breakfast was free and different options were available each of the 3 mornings I was there. They offered free dinner M-Th too, but I didn't partake. The room was clean and comfortable. Each day the room had a light freshening with new towels, bed made, and trash removed. The wifi in the room worked, but not the strongest signal. The staff was friendly. Check in/out was quick! Lots of shopping and restaurants within a mile or two of the hotel. The hotel has a free shuttle for 5 mile radius, but due to limited hours of service, I did not use. Not many taxis around, but Ubers were always available. My only complaint is that I was a single traveler, and they put me in a ground floor room, at the very back side of the property, with an obstructed view of the door from the dimly lit parking lot. I asked to switch rooms, but was told no other rooms were available. My reservation was for a single traveler, so they should have taken that into consideration for room assignment.

Nice Amenities, hotel was slightly unorganized due to construction.

Was a great place. Nice little condo like apartments with a lot of room and very comfortable. We stayed with our family of 8 and it was great!

I have stayed here twice now and was told the first time it was newly remodeled. Most hotels that tell you it was remodeled slap some paint on the walls and fix the bare minimal. Not this place, it looked as if there were real professionals that remodeled it from top to bottom, not a friend of a friend that thinks they know what to do. I will use this place every time I am in the area!

The renovations were not completely finished but our room was. It was beautiful and cozy. Loved the full kitchen and location. We will DEFINITELY stay here again !

Liked everything about in this hotel. It was like a furnished modern house. Kitchen was well equipped with utensils, cutlery and pot. Bed was so comfy. Will visit again!!

These rooms are essentially fully furnished two bedroom apartments with living room and kitchen, including dishes, pots, pans, etc. This is an excellent value for families or multiple couples to share a suite on vacation. I highly recommend staying here!

Staff was friendly. Breakfast was great. Room was clean.

The hotel is going to be very nice when the remodel is completed. However, if you get an old room as we did it is very dated (but clean). The king bed was probably new and it was very comfortable, but the rest of the room was 1970's (include the VHS player). It seems that only about half of the property has been updated but they indicated it would be fully completed in a couple of months.

Although we only stayed one night, it was very comfortable and exactly what we needed. Bathrooms need updating.

I'm glad you enjoyed our hotel and the services we provide. The next time you stay with us, try our iced coffee or a smoothie that we make fresh at our bar - "The Pour" for a small charge. Thank you for staying with us and being our guest.
