Accommodating boarding pass printer kiosks, nice gym, decent restaurant and bar.
Staff was amazing, friendly and accommodating. Room was wonderful and bed was comfortable. Loved the pool and hot tub.
Beautiful hotel, close to restaurants, activities and transit. The bathroom in our room was very large. I would rather have had a smaller bathroom and more room space. The room was tight for 4 people. There were 2 double beds but queen size beds would have been better. I was disappointed that the one night I went to use the hot tub after a long day of sightseeing, it was closed at 8:30 p.m. for cleaning!
Very central and very accommodating staff. Very clean and roomy suite. A lot better than other suites we've booked in the past
Thank you for a great experience with the JW Marriott !! This was our first day at your hotel although we have stayed at other wonderful Marriott properties!!! We felt the staff went above and beyond to make our anniversary weekend extra special !! Sometimes it's the little extras that count the most !! Also we never passed a staff person in the lobby or hallways that didn't look up acknowledge her presence smile and say hello !! Thank you again for a great experience!! We will be back and appreciate your commitment to outstanding customer service!!
From our arrival in Chicago until check out this hotel was one of the nicest. Upon our arrival, during Memorial day weekend, the men working the valet were the first to greet us with a hello and good afternoon. The front desk personnel were fast, friendly and professional. Smiling the whole time while explaining the amenities of the hotel and the fastest way to our room. The room was very nice, typical of JW. It was quiet from hallway and most street noise. 4 elevators were fast and decent in size. One of the best things about the hotel was the concierge. I have been to other hotels in other vacation spots and have always been reluctant to utilize them. The gentleman, Erik, was the best. Helpful, smart, patient and informed. Gave great directions, showing me on the map where to go, and gave several hints about local attractions and places of interest. Overall experience was great, will be back and would recommend this place to all family and friends.
Hotel location was great - right downtown and convenient to everything. Lobby was very nice, and restaurant on 2nd floor was very good as well. Good hotel for business traveler.
The hotel was very nice. The lobby bar creates an inviting feel to the place, many people always milling about. The staff was extremely friendly. The only drawback is I do not understand Marriott's insistence on charging an additional fee for internet access in their hotels.
My son and I stayed for the weekend for a college visit. The hotel is in a fantastic location, a 5 min walk from the Art Institute and Grant and Millenium Parks. Public transportation is nearby and even in a torrential downpour the Marriott staff did a great job of hailing cabs for a big crowd. There are also great restaurants within 10 min walk. The Florentine inside the Marriott is wonderful for breakfast (only meal we ate there). The lobby and common areas of the hotel are all lovely. Our room was beautifully appointed, spacious and had a large bathroom with double sinks, separate tub and shower. Staff were knowledgeable and helpful, including checking us in earlier than 3pm. Would definitely stay here again and recommend it highly.
Great location, nice room, comfy bed, good breakfast, friendly helpful staff - more or less all I was looking for.
The fridge was pre stocked w things you had to buy...but there was no room to put our own items. In this day in age, I don't understand why free wifi isn't standard.
We had a family trip to downtown Chicago on 4th of July. Very close to Union Station and walking distance to Millennium Park and other stores. Very comfortable beds and blankets. Clean and modern bathroom was great. Pool had clean water and nice running machines. Would highly recommend any traveler to downtown Chicago.
Lobby was very nice when i first walked in. Staff very friendly. The room was great. Bathroom was nice and big. Their was a bathtub and a standing shower. I thought the room was gonna be alittle bigger but still a very enjoyable stay. The pool and hot tub were great. Definitely would stay here again.
I was disappointed when they automatically put me and my wife into a room with 2 double beds. My reservation requested a king, if available. When I called the front desk, they said they did have a king room that they could move us to. The room was nice except for a stain on the duvet. In this day and age, and at the price they charge, you would think that internet would be an included amenity.
One of the worst JWs I have stayed at, even the W across the street is much better!
This hotel is very clean! But the location is not very good because it spends ten minutes to go to water tower area. I book a room with limited view and a room with nice outside view. But unfortunately I did not find any different between them.
We arrived to hotel with very pleasant valet service. Staff very courteous. Hotel beautiful and very clean. Nice fitness area and pool! Only complaint is the beds and pillows were so hard and uncomfortable that I wasn't able to sleep and my husband was very sore. I would recommend this hotel to those who don't mind that or in future I would check to see if there are different beds available. We also requested an extra bed thru reservation and it wasn't in room. I did not follow up after check in; perhaps they may have been able to accommodate the request. I would have preferred to be located a bit further north.
Great staff, great location, great stay! Close to sights.
Wonderful! The staff was very helpful and friendly. We used room serves one night and we where amazed on how fast and delicious our meal was. I would highly recommend this hotel to friends and family.
Walking distance from the train station and Willis tower. Check in was fast and the staff was friendly and helpful. The guest room and lobby were clean and bright. All in all worth it.
