Central Loop Hotel

4.0 out of 5.0

Recent guest reviews

While I only spent one night at the Central Loop Hotel, I must say it's one of the best hotels I've had the privilege of staying as a guest. My room had an excellent view of the Loop's financial district and was strategically positioned to be close to places of business as well as places of interest for travelers and was easily accessible to users of Chicago's CTA system, for me the Orange Line from Midway International. This hotel isn't really family friendly, it's primarily geared towards business travelers, again due to its location in the Loop, however as someone who doesn't have a family or was in town on business, it suited me just fine. All told, this is one of my best travel experiences and I highly recommend it to anyone who wants a quality experience in Chicago.

Very friendly staff who let us check in early at no extra charge. They even kept our luggage for us for a few hours after check out since our flight didn't leave until later in the day. Great location that was walking distance or a very short uber ride to everything. We really enjoyed our stay!

A misunderstanding with my reservation during checkin, but it was soon solved. Otherwise everything else was fine.

Central, but not worth 4 stars... Room was clean, but not high standards...

Location of this hotel is the best. You can get to lots great sightseeing spots within walking distance. Room is clean and spacious.

It is a reasonably priced hotel that has free bottled water to take with you and it's close to everything.

I can recommend it without reservation. Very efficient and courteous staff.

Great location right downtown. Take the blue line from O'hare for $3 and it drops you a block and a half from the hotel... very convenient! A 20 minute walk to the lake or a 20 minute walk to the river. The hotel was accommodating and the price was right with mostly business travelers.

I loved this hotel. The location was close to the art institute and other sights as well as access to the train. It was clean and comfortable, nicely decorated, but could have used a microwave and refrigerator. It was very comparable to advertised photos. The staff was more than helpful and friendly. I appreciated the water fill station by the elevator. I would absolutely stay here again.

great location, clean room.the staff was friendly as well.

A perfect fit for my needs in downtown Chicago, cozy, clean, comfortable, convenient, and affordable. Thank you Central Loop!

Accommodations were great! Location was great! Staff was great! Bathroom was a little outdated but everything else made up for that. Would definitely stay here again.

Great place, great location. Conveniently located in central Chicago and close to public transportation. Very modern rooms very comfortable

The location was ideal as I was traveling with a heavy suitcase, and the hotel is a couple of blocks from an elevator-equipped metro station. I was also able to take a city bus at a stop just across the street to get to the long-distance bus stop.

Good location and walking distance to where I needed to go.

enjoyed our stay at Central Loop Hotel, Chicago, IL

The hotel was unwilling to work with me on changes.

The hetel had a great location near a lot of restaurants, cultural and art museums, and parks. It also provides coffee and snacks servise, yet it's out Friday-Sunday.. Which was most of our stay..

This hotel is the real deal. It has an excellent location, friendly and helpful staff, and very clean and comfortable rooms. This was my second time staying here, and I am going to have a hard time staying anywhere else in Chicago, especially for the price and the location. The staff this time particularly stood out for their friendliness and availability; when I had trouble figuring out the printing in the business room, a staff member helped me and would not leave until the issue was resolved, when we needed extra coffee pods for the room's Keurig machine they were waiting for us in our room. You cannot go wrong with this hotel.

Great little hotel but was a little hard to find the front entrance, also the parking ramp need to be with the hotel instead of it being a couple blocks away. Overall the hotel was great
