Everything is good and good services Clean Pool,Beautiful Place for vacations all year

I loved the proximity to the beach and the beautiful surrounding area. The hotel doesn't have the most updated amenities, and my room was a little underwhelming. The staff was great, however, and very friendly. If you don't plan on spending all of your time in your room during your stay, i would say its an excellent choice.

We liked everything. We didnt realize that we would have dishes, a micrwave, refrigerater, coffee maker, and very nice grocery store! The view was smazing. Beach wss cleaned often, furniture by the pool and in the rooms very good. We will stay each year!

We had a great time staying in the resorts. Staff were friendly, and the facilities nice.

The property & it's surroundings were fabulous. No loud music or noisy patrons. Everything was perfectly clean & in excellent condition.

Great location and we had a gorgeous view. Very clean

The Royal Islander consistently has friendly service and maintains the property very well. The food is nice, the market is very convenient and the other members/guests are usually very pleasant to interact with!

The property is well maintained very nice pool and beach area. I’m not a fan of charging purchases to the room however and all transactions are room charges here. The rooms are nice beds are ok in comfort a little noisy due to PA system used by resort south of this one. If you like quiet this is a good spot. Hotel has shuttle to their other properties but is a little far to walk to the commercial areas. Guy st gym was rude to my son which goes against their customer service policy. It was an ok stay maybe next trip will be a little closer to shopping or within walking distance of.

No sales pressure. The food was of great quality and the prices were right.

Everything was good, well maintained. We enjoyed our time in this resort.

nice hotel except the salespeople wanting you to buy into the Royals gave some wrong infomation regarding chichen itza saying it was closed for renovation and it was not closed so we didn't get to see it..... Disappointing! The resort will not let you pay with a credit card for dinner ect...so if you are at a restaurant and don't have enough "credit" at fronrt desk you cannot use a credit card or cash to pay..you have run to the front desk and get more credit put on your account....Very annoying!. Also resort had no hot tub which would have been nice on cooler evenings in January.

It was a very well maintained hotel with comfortable spacious room. We took the standard room with a view and could see the the ocean from the window. Apparently they have ocean view rooms only for their members. In any case the view was nice and as soon as you come out of your room you could walk down the stairs and be on the most beautiful beach in seconds. The staff were nice at check in and check out and other than that we didn’t interact with them much. The pool was quite large and beautiful and though we didn’t swim I could see a bar serving in pool drinks. The room and bathrooms were exceptionaly clean for a hotel on the beach so I’m sure the staff are soon great job. I would definitely stay there if I go to Cancun again.

Timeshare scam? We were told to go to the presentation by the concierge (sales person apparently) immediately upon check in. We were then promised that they would provide two free trips if we listened to the presentation. We did. They then charged us for the "free trips" (only one of which were attended) which we only discovered upon check out. When we disputed the charge, we were told to discuss it with the concierge who was gone for the day. Of course we couldn't as we were checking out. I was told someone would contact me via email. No one ever did. The hotel itself was lovely. We got the one bedroom with the large balcony. The other staff was very nice. The location was stunning even though we could not use the beach due to massive amounts of seaweed (not hotel's fault). The food was ok, nothing special. The decor was very '90s but clean and functional. I loved the turtles, lizards, and the iguanas everywhere. I would go here again if it weren't for feeling scammed.
