My girlfriend and I stayed in the Ocean View Junior Suite and it was indeed "suite." Check in was easy. The location of the hotel is perfect. We just stayed on the hotel premises, but their beach was pristine. Soft, fine sand with clear, cerulean blue water. They have people waiting on you while you lie on the beach and pool. The drinks weren't that strong, but I think they do that on purpose cause they know you'll be drinking all day. They had upbeat music by the pool which was a nice change from the serene music heard inside the hotel. The food was pretty good. I was actually surprised cause of the other reviews that I've read. My favorite was Sea Salt Grill that had the best chips & guac as well as some really good fish tacos. Another favorite was Blue Water Grill as they had some really good rib eye and short rib! The creamy, buttery mashed potatoes and mushrooms just capped it off. For breakfast, go to the Market Cafe! Their buffet option is unparalleled and the food will not disappoint. Room service food wasn't all that great, but it's there as an option. Everyone there was super friendly and no one pushed anything. Raul from Blue Water Grill was a joy to be around and was hilarious. He was courteous and made our meal much more enjoyable. Our room was on the side of the hotel, but still had good view of that beautiful ocean. It was large & spacious. Bed was comfy, but not the comfiest. The shower was really nice: dual head w/ a rain shower. Room was nice & clean

Poor check- in experience, but overall, excellent stay. Could not get into room until well past 3 pm check in time.

Place was amazing! Room service food was really good, we actually ate in our room twice during our stay because the food was so good and we didn't feel like dressing up. The restaurants were also very nice and the wait staff very friendly. I would only suggest adding a couple more main entree's to each menu. The staff throughout the hotel were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend and return.

We went for 3 nights. We had preferred guest level accommodation. There was no turn down service at all. When we checked in the cards we where given did not work. I had food allergy. They would ask at every restaurant we went too. But still bring something I am allergic to, to the table complement of the chef. Why bother asking. Took forever for shower to get hot. I would stay somewhere different next time.

Everything was perfect. The staff greeted us as soon as we arrived with champagne and everything was lovely from there. Great food, drinks, and views from the room. We upgraded to the preferred room and it was definitely worth it having access to the 12th floor pool during a busy weekend.

The staff and the facilities made for a relaxing and thoroughly enjoyable holiday.

Exceptional service. Great food. Room was amazing!

The hotel was excellent, the rooms were clean and the service was spectacular.

Overall good experience, but there were few quirks with the hotel: 1. In restaurants there were no drinks menu. They could have prepared you whatever you wanted, but it would be nice to see a menu with sample drinks that would go with theme of the restaurant. We've ended up having Prosecco in every single restaurant, what was fine, but could be way better experience. 2. There was no music by the pool. Nothing. At some point they had some contents where they would play music for 3-5 seconds and then stop and people were suppose to guess the song, but besides that music maybe played once or twice during our 4 day stay. 3. Entertainment could be better. I've stayed in multiple properties in Cancun and all hotels were having a lot of experience by the pool and then some evening shows. This hotel provided some dancers during a day by the pool for 20-30 minutes and in the evening there was always something happening in one of the bars, but venue was tiny and not enjoyable. They had nice space outside and by the pool - that would be way better venue for evening experience and could sit way more people. The biggest problem we had with the hotel was fact that Orbitz was telling us that we are getting $200 credit to spend at the resort. Upon our arrival we were told that this is not credit - it turned out to be a set of DISCOUNTS on overpriced services, To actually utilize all $200 credit we would have to spend over $1000 in addition to what we've paid for the room.

Outside of the low chairs in the rooms (not good for one's back), what a wonderful resort. Sleek and contemporary facility that is comfortable. Bluewater Grill and Dragons are outstanding restaurants. Staff could not be more accommodating. Immaculate 24/7. You will not be disappointed.

Perfect hotel . Amazing food, loved the service, multiple pools, great views of the sunrise and sunset from our balcony. Never left the resort because there was no need too.

The only thing that I would change is the music , There should be music in the Pool

nice resort just like many others in Cancun, I do think its way overpriced because of its limited amenities and restaurants selections .Its ok but the all inclusive price per person is not worth the services . It is way over priced.

Great people, great service, great food. Overall a wonderful stay! They treat you like gold

Excellent stay staff went out of its way to take care of you food overall good not excellent pool great bar indoor served a better drink

Great resort, nice people, clean, good food, beautiful beach. We've stayed at Secrets Capri in Playa. Compared to that one, The Vine is larger, newer and has a bigger beach. But, Capri's staff is phenomenal and The Vine OK. The Vine's staff is good but you don't get the same enthusiasm and attention as at Capri. I suspect this is because there are more guests at the Vine and they can't cater as easily. The Vine is clean and our room was beautiful. Room service and turn down were as expected. Our AC would not shut off when we arrived and they fixed it quickly but I was cold the whole time. Not a big deal, just left the slider open a lot. Our toilet clogged and they fixed right away. We put $ and passports in the safe and it wouldn't open! Turns out the battery died-took 3 guys about 30 minutes, but they got it open :) The controls for the lights are loopy. Never did figure it out completely. Food is good at all the restaurants, did not try the steakhouse. Dragons and the Italian place are the best IMO. Drinks could be a little different from day to day. I ended up drinking wine or beer just to have the consistency in taste. Pools are great. Entertainment in the evening can be cheesy but it's all fun if you let yourself relax and enjoy it.

Second time at Secrets. First time with friends, second time with family. Everybody enjoyed, love it.

Enjoyed a week stay at Secrets. The hotel was nicer than we expected. The rooms are extraordinary. We upgraded to the VIP service. The rooms on these floors are luxurious. However, the butlers did nothing for us. At other resorts the butler’s pack and unpack for you, make reservations, reserve seats at the pool or beach etc. At secrets the butler was not accommodating at all. We had trouble even getting ice from them. Overall a nice stay.

Hotel was any good that I respect! Couple dish’s in all hotel was good from all the restaurant.... one time I did ordem dinner on the room and was fantastic next day I order break fast and lunch and we have to go out of the hotel to eat because was not good so I have one night of good food in all the 7 days of my stay there.

an all inclusive hotel with modern art deco decor .. great location and staff, with many amenities.
