Eveyrhtjng here is nice clean and new. Only bad thing is slow food service. Other than that. It's best bang for the buck. Better than live aqua. I guess since its new.

Was going to leave a good review, the service was amazing and the food tasted good, also a very nice modern design. The spa at this location is out of this world, if you are staying at this location the spa is a must, about 2 says before my departure we had lunch by the pool next to barefoot grill, I bit a few pieces of the burger and realized it was really red on the inside, looks like it was on the grill for only a minute or so, so I threw it out but it was too late, I got food poisoning from it and could not eat for the rest of my stay there, Also intense diarrhea, sorry to get graphic but thats just not the way I imagined spending my honeymoon. upon checkout I mentioned it to the concierge and he just shrugged it off, it seems like they don't do anything about food poisoning at this location unless it is a large group that gets sick. Another review on this a similar site shows where a reviewer got sick from the exact same meal, a burger by the pool, and it looks like nothing was done, I guess they are waiting for more people to get sick from the burgers by the pool? anyways I don't think I will be going back, thank you secrets of the vine for ruining my honeymoon

This was our first time at Secret and it definitely lived up to the ratings! From our first moments in the hotel (greeted with champagne) to the festivities celebrating Mexican Independence Day, we truly enjoyed our time at the resort. The spa was relaxing and clean, and our masseuses Christina and Cinthia was wonderful. The only complaint we had was with the food. Nebbiolo (italian) was delicious (our waiters Sylvestre and Brian was fantastic!), as was the Sea Salt Grill. And I highly recommend the Market Cafe for breakfast if you're looking for authentic Mexican food. However, the Blue Water Grill was very disappointing. The sides were incredibly small or not good, and my boyfriend's steak was all grizzle. We didn't bother trying Olio or Dragons because other guests told us the food was terrible. Hopefully this is something they can work on for the future. The beachfront was gorgeous and the staff (Jorge and Alejandro) were extremely attentive and friendly. We never had an issue getting drinks, and they helped us set up chairs and umbrellas all day. Definitely made our time much more enjoyable! We look forward to coming back again in the future!

Simply put, this resort was AMAZING!! Food, Staff, Entertainment AMAZING!!!!

The last couple of years we have stayed at Aqua and Beloved and decided to try Secrets The Vine based on many great reviews. This hotel will not disappoint! The building is very modern and spotless with large rooms and many architectural details throughout. The staff is fast to respond whenever we needed something. The restaurants are all very nice with Nebbiolo our favorite restaurant (Italian) followed by Dragon (Asian) and Blue Water Grill (Steak). Sea Salt at the beach is casual and serves great Ceviche. Nightly entertainment was good at the lobby bar (singers, bands, etc.). There were 6-7 bars serving drinks. The only complaint I had was that it would have been nice to see a tropical drink menu with some creative options. The mixed drinks I requested were not particularly tasty at the Manatee Bar. After trying 3-4 I switched to more simple drinks like Sea Breeze, Mimosa and beer which are hard to mess up. Again, it would have been nice to try some nice tropical drinks like we had at Beloved. Overall a great experience and I recommend to everyone looking for a luxurious all inclusive, adults only vacation in Cancun!

This is our first time in Cancun, we had so much fun! the hotel is very nice and clean. staffs was very kind and helpful, they treat everyone like you are VIP! Good is good and fresh. we are definitely coming back again!

Bartenders need more practice in making cocktails. Outside restaurants by pool on 1st floor should not have sleeveless shirt restrictions and on top of that this restriction is not followed through on with all customers. Pool should be opened until 8 or 9pm

Tasty food, great drinks, amazing view from the room balcony, beautiful beach, and the staff could not be more amazing. Enough said :)

Restaurants seemed unavailable. Too long of a wait. wedding parties occupied several restaurants.

Second time at secrets the vine and it still very beautiful and the staff is very nice. On the downside room service food was terrible..

My husband and I had an amazing honeymoon experience! The rooms were clean and beautiful, the staff were accommodating and friendly, and the food was impressive! We definitely will be returning! Completely worth the extra money!

We stayed for 4 days 4 nights. Great shows every night. Drinks and food where amazing. Service and courtesy of staff was absolutely perfect. Sylvia in room service was so careering, professional and attentive. Hostess at Dragons was also a pleasure to meet. She welcomed us every day and was attentive. The entertainment staff was great and accommodating. Sea Salt staff and managers where incredibly prepared and service professionals. Brinks while by the pool where great and plentiful. The blue Grill staff where also great. there was a towel and beach chair employee that was

Another exceptional stay at Secrets the Vine. Hate to leave can't wait to return.

I will never stay here again. This hotel is so loud and noisy. You can hear music all day and night in your hotel room with door closed. There are no bathtubs in room unless you want to pay extra to stay in a honeymoon suite. The bedding old. Sheets had balls on them and felt like sand in the bed. Staff is nice. Food average. They serve small portions and half the time they will get order right. Lighting in room is very dim making it hard to see. I'm shocked this hotel had so many good reviews after staying there. Big disappointment. You can get more for your money and better quality at other hotels .

Nice hotel, friendly staff. But takes forever to get food at the restaurants.

Great hotle and staffs, the environment is so amazing!

The first thing you will notice is how amazing the staff is when they first greet you as you enter the resort. Everyone is super accommodating and respectful of your vacation/relaxation. The facilities and rooms are top notch and the pools are gorgeous. There are three infinity pools (the fourth infinity pool on the fourth floor is exclusive access only) and 6+ different restaurants to choose from for food/drinks. If you want to go on excursions beyond the all-inclusive package, the staff are more than willing to help and they will offer fair prices.

Wanted a short getaway; found easy travel, congenial staff, glorious sun, splendid weather, and marvelous spa & dining. Nearly perfect!

Everything was great, would definitely stay there again!

Not the most greatest experience. Considering the price, guess there was much expectations. Hotel mostly accomodates to couples and not families. Had to wait almost an hour to be seated for group bigger than 6.
