Food at the resort was not good. We had to use plastic cups that they were not throwing away and it was not clean. The buffet waiters gave us water down drinks. A few people got sick off the uncooked pork. The hotel was very clean, the room was amazing. Not worth spending money on a all inclusive. I would recommend a hotel and get food from local areas. Also drink bottle of water.

Property has no entertainment..... one bar and customer service is horrible

This is a very nice resort! At first we had gotten the wrong room but the front desk quickly fixed it. The rooms and resort are very modern and aesthetically pleasing. The service is amazing, servers are very friendly at the restaurants and drink service at the pool is also pretty good. Service can get a little slow on the beach and near the pool during busy times but thats expected and they are definitely working hard. Food was pretty good. There are 2 lunch options and 4 dinner options from what I could tell. Favorites were the mexican restaurant and Botanico which was Asian fusion. Buffet was also good. The options for breakfast room service were also really good. Went during the week during spring break time. This was a great time to go because the pool/beach wasn't too crowded but also wasn't completely dead. It was nice to lounge by the pool with tropical house in the background. Although the music can get pretty loud as the afternoon goes on and the pool starts to get crowded. There is another more quiet pool and an upstairs deck. Only con was that there wasn't anything going on at night during the week. We would have to leave the resort for any kind of nightlife. Although the beach palace next door had shows which we were able to watch from our balcony, haha. Drinks were also GOOD. Sometimes they were made stronger than others, but you could always ask for a shot on the side if you felt like it wasn't strong enough and the shots did not seem watered down.

Great location/view but the ac was not working, hot room, you have to run hot water for 5-10 mins in order to get hot water & cleanliness could improve Staff is very friendly!

No restaurants, just a buffet. All new employees, new management, hotel still under construction. Definitely lost its touch. Hot tub never heated up. Paint splatters everywhere. Food is completely disgusting. Come for the concert and leave immediately! You’ve been warned. I’ve come to this hotel when it was called the ME Melia, trust me I know what I’m talking about. Been coming for 7-8 years, however, not returning for a long time. The new management brought in new workers from Ibiza to help run the party and give it an Ibiza vibe. That’s not what people want from Mexico...they want the Mexican vibe. I’ll go to Ibiza if that what I wanted. FYI someone should tell them steroids are not cool and most people stopped using them in the early 90s.

The hotel should not be open at this time. They only have 1 bar open inside and even that isn’t open all the time. Closed 11pm in

It was awesome! all the staff are attentive and the resort is fabulous, comfortable with great food and drinks

You pay for all inclusive but it is not true. We were sitting in one of the bed around the swimming pool and a staff stated we can't sit there at least we buy a bottle of licor. " Hello, it is a joke." We talked with one of the front desk staff and he stated it was true. Also you have to pay extra for Fuji water, nevertheless I asked first and stated everything was included. Also no entertainment as other hotel and limited parking. You can find better deal.

The resort looks like the pics I must admit it's way older than the pics online. The room has a moldy smell I think the a/c has a lot to do with it bcuz it blows out damp air. The room gets cool but never cold. The bathroom shower stall was dirty you can tell it's not properly cleaned after every guest major soap scum and dirty glass door. The sheets were stained, the hotel phone didn't work so you had to go the front lobby for any questions or to make reservations. The wifi only works in the lobby where there is no a/c . The food is not great the buffet was good only for breakfast. Black Sheep restaurant was ok the steak was good. If you looking for American food there is a Outback Steakhouse that's walking distance also Johnny Rockets in the shopping mall that sells burgers, fries and milkshakes. The pools was nice, beaches had a lot of seaweed. Only excursion we did was parasailing it was nice ohhh but you have to walk far ass hell on the beach to get there the sand makes it a dreadful task! Don't buy it from the hotel u have to walk too far approx 20mins in the blazin sun to get to the company they use. They have a company as soon as you walk on the beach same price! Night life clubs range from $60-$75 that's bcuz you get unlimited drinks but it's too many ppl I don't see how you can get 1 drink without getting trampled over or standing there forever to be served. We just had our free drinks from the resort and watched from the outside u can hear and see everything 4 free

Been coming here since it was the ME Cancun hotel...unfortunately the hotel is under new management and this time I had to pay extra 200 usd to get the room I always book...weird and pety... I paid anyways so I didn’t have to deal with the bullshit.... seeing familiar faces from the past is always great, wish more of the previous employees stayed....hotel is not finished from being remodeled....it’s july and I came in January too, yet still no progress....someone needs to lay off the cervesas and get to work!

With such mixed reviews I gave the hotel the benefit of the doubt. I am the type of person that likes to see for myself..I was disappointment overall. I do have to say, the food and restaurant staff are phenomenal..everyone is so kind and their service is very professional. Our favorite was the hibachi restaurant. We visited there twice! The food was great and the chef Wilbert was so funny. Special shout out to Surriel who is the waiter there he is absolutely amazing! Thank you for your service. Also, the alcohol is weak but it’s not top shelf liquor so what can you expect. My bf and I were extremely upset with the room. Upon arrival we requested an upgrade and the “front desk manager” alberto was very rude to us and would interrupt our questions mid sentence. We never got an upgrade, and stayed at “superior lagoon room” (which by the way there’s is nothing superior about this room at all!) the sheets were stained the mirror in the room was cracked. We requested new bedding and had to go over to the desks ourselves because it took 3 phone calls in an hour. the pools are okay, the lower level pool with the cool seating are at an extra cost to sit there but you can use the pool. We preferred staying down there because for some reason the alcohol was a bit better. Overall I’d give the hotel a 3.0, i love Mexico but would definitely look into another resort to stay at. We’re well aware MM took over the old ME hotel, and is under construction, this place has a lot of work to do
