The stars I’m giving this hotel are honest, but generous. The hotel is actually two hotels. It was really difficult to find anything. Lots of restaurants, some you had to have reservations for. We downloaded the app, but no map on it &we tried to make reservations for one of the restaurants, but when we arrived at the restaurant they unapologetically didn’t have our reservation. The food at the buffet was tolerable, at best, disappointing because we love Mexican food. I really regretted paying for this all inclusive. Our stay was for 4 nights and I paid $1394 usd. On the morning of the 3rd day we took 2 of our 5 bags out to the car to take some things to my mom who was staying at a different hotel. When we walked out of the hotel the bellman asked if we were checking out, we said no. Then another bell man asked for our room number & the checkout slip. We said we weren’t checking out. By the time we walked to our car we had 4 people asking us about checkout. We got in the car and the blocked all the exists & WOULDN’T LET US LEAVE. I was forced to go to the front desk and sign a charge for $52.00. I have no idea what that was for and I will be charging back. After that we were allowed to leave the property. It was crazy. I went and stayed with my mom at the other hotel, on our HONEYMOON.
