This is my second time staying here. I love the location & Resort. The grounds are well kept and clean. The gate guards are always professional and courteous. The checkin process is painless and the staff is awesome. The room was somewhat clean with a few spots in the carpet. The shower head needed ...
We had a beautiful oceanfront 2 bedroom room. Our room was well decorated and very clean. Plenty of towels and washcloths provided. (I usually have to ask for more) We had a problem with our balcony door not opening. Front desk had an engineer up there at night and it was fixed within minutes. We ...
We were overall very happy with our stay at the Prince. Waking up to the ocean view alone was worth the price. The restaurant on the boardwalk was convenient and very good. The one improvement we would suggest is the area in which we first enter the resort for check-in. It's a floor below the lobby ...
We missed not having a pool, which is pretty much the norm for a motel at the beach. When we first got in the room, it had a very musty, moldy smell to it. Either we got used to it, or it went away the more we went in and out. Other than that, it was sufficient for our weekend. I must say that, although ...

loved this place! I can not wait to go back! i wish it was more enclosed by the rooms though!
The room was fine. It's a bit small the way it's designed with a "bedroom" (2 queens) & a "living" room w/Murphy bed, and a kitchen. It was clean and relatively up to date. It was pretty comfortable, too. We enjoyed the proximity to all we wanted to do during our weekend at the beach. It was windy & chilly, so we didn't get out much. That made the room feel smaller. But we did enjoy the jacuzzi and heated pool on the 10th floor. The breakfast was very good and the people serving us were fantastic! They were probably the best part of the stay at Monterey Bay. We would definitely come back if we return to Myrtle.
We missed not having a pool, which is pretty much the norm for a motel at the beach. When we first got in the room, it had a very musty, moldy smell to it. Either we got used to it, or it went away the more we went in and out. Other than that, it was sufficient for our weekend. I must say that, although we didn't have a lot of contact with the staff, when we did, they were marvelous! Front desk and housekeepers were terrific and that's tricky to keep good employees at the beach, where employment competition is fierce!
Huge two bedroom suite at a great price off season. Room was clean and in good repair. Housekeeping did not show up and had to call for towels, shampoo etc several times and then items were never delivered. Saw other guests complaining of similar situations. If service was better this would be a five star review.
