The hotel is located in a very convenient area, but the hotel is not that good. First of all some of the front desk people are not so helpful. I had a bad experience with one of the cleaning lady on the second floor, she was very rude. The rooms were not well cleaned, doors, walls, carpet are dirty. They do not clean behind beds and all kinds of nasty stuff hides in the corners. Also, two times the “clean towels” had human hair. We stayed from Sunday through Thursday and we requested our rooms to be clean on Wednesday. We rented two rooms and only one was cleaned. Nobody came after I was asked to have the rooms empty for the cleaning person to come. It is really frustrating when you communicate and follow instructions and they just don’t care. I went to the front desk to complain and the guy said sorry but they are done cleaning for the day. I won’t stay here again. The hotel needs to be updated and have the cleaning staff to do a better job. Everyone seem to have a bad attitude at this place.

The staff is great. I arrived at hotel at 2:30am. Bed had sand in the sheets so I wonder if they changed sheets. It smelt clean. I was so tired to care. The walls are thin as I could hear the couple next to me at 3am. The staff couldn't move me bc they were fully booked.

The 1st floor lobby and eating areas were pristine. The second floor hallways and rooms had a damp, musty smell. The double beds were size double not your standard queen size. Beware if you're tall or wide. I would give overall stay as average. Staff were friendly and accommodating.

The bed was good. The hotel was very nice, but the pillows on the bed were horrible. It felt like somebody literally put a bunch of straw in the pillows. That was the only thing that messed it up

Great stay with our dog. Check in was amazing. Staff already had our keys made and had put us on the ground floor and near an exit since we were traveling with our four legged friend. Very convenient to beach access

Good hotel - skip breakfast.

Good hotel with pleasant and professional staff. The largest thing that needs improvement is the breakfast, it’s the same each day. The only protein you will find is a hard boiled egg that is served chilled. Otherwise, you can have a choice of all carbs: waffle, bagel, biscuit, toast, instant oatmeal/grits. Many other La Quinta properties offer a better selection and variety for breakfast.

I don’t understand why folks are charged to park at the hotel. This is over the top. Granted, not all the spaces are “pay to park,” but why are any of them?
