Property needs to be updated , looks very used and old also your its says in description self parking free which is not true they charge you $10 per day parking…the entrance to the apt is through the room so its kind of uncomfortable to come In and out of the room instead Of a regular apt

Overall for what I paid and it being last minute, the room was pretty clean overall did not like that housekeeping did not come in everyday. It was close to a lot and the view was nice.

Shakira had above and beyond customer service. Our experience with Darren at front desk was a bit unprofessional, and original room booked was not pleasing and smelled of smoke. Shakira fixed everything for us and was definitely nice to work with someone with excellent customer service. Elevators need some work, they were busy, one wasn't working and the ones for ocean access were not working effectively, but over all nice stay.

We felt like we were tricked. We booked at the Caravelle but they put us in a room located at the old St John’s Inn which is across the street and behind a big oceanfront hotel so we couldn’t see the ocean. Very old building. We still had access to all amenities but it wasn’t what we expected in the least. Ask for the main building!

Love staying here and very friendly to locals!! Bonus

Paid for a room and accidentally clicked the wrong dates and never got my money back. She told me to call orbitz and there was no help what so ever I just want my money back because we never go to stay !!!!

So this is okay, the room was pretty nice, but everything else seems to be falling apart. The light covers for the up and downlights on the elevator were missing, and the elevators really suck, super slow. The pool closes at 10pm even on weekends which is a bummer, and there was a really bad water leak during our stay so the seven-floor was very wet. Overall we had fun, and it was nice enough, but if I could go back I would spend the extra 10-20 bucks a night and stay somewhere just a little nicer

Me and my family it was out first time staying there we had ocean view room it was on 15th floor it was awesome the only down fall was cause of Covid 19 a lot of things were still closed but for 7 nights the price and location was awesome. We would stay there again if the price is right again. Thanks caravelle for making our family trio a nice one.

Very nice room with heated lazy river that was clean and open in mid February. Really enjoyed myself. Cannot wait to come again.

I would never stay here again.  Not because of the jellyfish or sharks but because of our overall experience at the Caravelle.  The rooms were cleaned at the bare minimum, the service was par the elevator were Horrible.  The 1st day our kids were yelled at with 10 minutes of walking into the pool because of the managements poor attempt to fix things in an timely manner.  The employee who was assigned to monitor was given inadequate supplies to do what he was asked to do.  Simple caution tape led to no other children getting yelled at and the employee or DJ not get frustrated.  Our room keys had to be fixed multiple times which is unacceptable since you have to go back down the elevator & walk across the street each time.  I stand here with sweat dripping down my back with 3 starving kids I write down my thoughts of how sad I am we choose this place to stay.   I had a package delivered to the hotel.  I called, emailed requesting I be called when it arrived you guested it they didn't.   The parking & handicap area is also inadequate.  Our package included breakfast which the "tickets" where never given to us so for 3 days I cooked & cleaned  breakfast No dishwasher & again the cleaning staff made the beds, took the trash & replaced the some of the towels never wiped down a counter or replaced the dish soap. No huge loss the restaurant has dirty air vents. There were several other hotels with in walking distance that looked much better.

We stayed in the caravelle tower, next to main resort. I liked the following: Spacious room, beach front, cable tv, good area. From the main resort access: nice splash pad for the kids, lazy river, pool. Dislikes: floors were dirty, i walked a few steps from the living room to the shower and after getting in the tube, you could see the dirt coming off of the bottom of my feet. Fold away bed had dirty covers. There were no sheets nor conforters for the foldaway bed. The pillow covers were dirty as well. Called front desk to notify of the issue, they said they would send house keeping to take care of the issue. Instead, the security guy, nice person btw, came to deliver a bag with the sheets. The whole thing was not a big deal but definitely worth noticing.

We stayed at the 1 bedroom ocean front Suite - GREAT VIEW! very modern room! Unfortunately the room was not cleaned properly, bedroom floors where dirty, furniture and beds were dusty. Also, the room had this weird smell when we arrived. On the building next door, for my sister's room check out was at 11, at 11:05 cleaning lady was knocking and got in to tell us that we were late. VERY RUDE! she gave us 15 minutes to leave or threaten to call the front office so they could charge us for another night.

Close to the ocean, many hot tubs, clean rooms, friendly staff.

Hi Nadia,We are so happy that you had a good time while you stayed with us. We sadly do not offer daily housekeeping. We sadly do not have a date when it will return at this time. Please come see us again when you are back in Myrtle Beach.

Hi Lizabeth,On your reservation it is showing you booked at St. Johns I am very sorry that building was not up to your standards. If you do book with us again please pick an ocean front or ocean view room in the main resort to go in that building you are referring to. Please call us if you have any questions.
