1933 South Park May 2025 Review
Questionable neighborhood. Room configuration not optimal, have to walk through second bedroom to get to bathroom. Lacking extra towels, washcloths, bed linens/blankets/pillows. Kitchen -needs new pots and pans (scratched teflon noted in pots/pans), needs additional dishes, cooking utensils. Adding salt and pepper, other kitchen accoutrements would make for a nicer stay. One burner on stove not working.Water pressure and water temperature in shower very variable. Toilet in larger bathroom needed to be plunged several times.

Fair enough
I want to say this is written from the perspective of a family with a small child… if it had been just my husband and I it would have served its purpose just fine. We needed a place nearby to my grandma’s house for the weekend. However, it is not family friendly in my opinion. There were 1-2 radiators in every room so if you wanted heat in the place there were hazards everywhere. For us that meant we could not let our 1.5 year old go ANYWHERE without fear of him getting seriously hurt or burnt. The “house” is right on the street and walls are thin making the bedroom with the crib and king bed extremely loud. It interrupted our son’s (and thus our) sleep efficiently. There is no bathroom access from that bedroom either unless you go through the adjacent bedroom which makes for a strange walk past other guests at midnight to pee… The bunk beds are kind of thrown in a common area so either dont have kiddos sleep there or existing in the living/kitchen area will most likely disturb them. It was situated between a marijuana shop and a smoke shop and the place looked more like an old apartment complex. My family and I ended up leaving after one night due to the whole situation and a refund at that point was not an option. Just a heads up to future families booking. I will credit that Check in was easy, communication with the host was efficient, and the place was clean.

Stay in S. Buffalo
This was a very neat looking rental - older building with beautiful rooms/spaces. We did not realize there was not AC (we should have checked that) as we were in Buffalo during a hot spell, but the fans and open windows tended to provide sufficient cooling. We enjoyed the layout of the rental and the couch was a fun place to hang out. The surrounding buildings included a vape shop and a family dollar. You could hear a lot of outside noise in the front bedroom, including voices from outside and vehicle traffic and the room could use some darkening shades/curtains. However, overall the place was really a great and unique place to stay. The owners were very responsive when needed and we stayed comfortably and safely without any issue. The location was just what we needed as it was close to nearby family.
