This motel was close to the restaurant, Cracker Barrel we wanted to go to. It was only about 6 minutes away from Walden Galleria Mall that we went to. Our assigned room: we only opened the door and were greeted with an overpowering smell of cigar or American cigarettes. It's a non-smoking motel; so someone didn't listen. We asked to switch rooms and got to the new room where there were mechanics changing the a/c unit. So, after getting a third room, it was fine. I just almost couldn't stand the air freshener that was sprayed in there. Thankfully it dissipated after a few hours. The 2 Queen beds were fine. I didn't like how they were on rollers and moved when you sat down. The a/c unit was quite loud but it blocked out the airplanes and highway sounds. For a one night stay it was fine. Our wing of rooms was quiet. The price of the one night was pretty high when exchanged for Canadian dollars. It came to about $284cad. I liked the free breakfast. It was served from 6-9am. They had cereal, bagels, muffins, coffee, juice, scrambled eggs, and my fave: diy waffles. The parking lot was nice and easy to park in. All in all, not too bad.

Very basic, low cost hotel. Area is not nice and not convenient. Shower did not work well, drain was blocked. Room door did not lock properly, and exterior door did not lock at all. Very noisy. Limited breakfast options.

Do not stay here, filthy.
The room was not clean. There were handprints and something splattered on the tv screen. The phone had not been cleaned in years and it did not work to call the main desk. Only one dispenser in the shower had anything in it. The air conditioner did not cool the room down. We have stayed at La Quinta Inns many times and have never had a bad experience until now.
