. I called the hotel the day before my arrival to see if I could get early check in/ set up shuttle service. i was told to call back when we land, once I got to the hotel I asked if I could get early check in, I was told that they couldn’t find my reservation, Then was told that early check in wasn’t till 2 pm. No where does it say that early check in starts at 2 pm, nor was I told before my arrival. was charged a 250 deposit which is not noted anywhere. Our room The Air conditioning does not work, blows hot air. No way to shut it off. We were told that maintenance would come look at it, at midnight. We said no wait till Am. Air never fixed. Went to front desk at 8pm told them about air, We were moved to another room, same issue in that room. Only blows hot air, will not shut off. went down a 2nd time to tell them about air. was told that I was going to be upgraded to a deluxe king room and was going to be charged 66.00 for my remaining 2 nights. Got new room, I was downgraded from my previous rooms and still charged same price. Only offered 25% off of stay and still charged 25 fee for early Check in. Staff is horrible except for a few people willing to help.

There was no breakfast, our room was really hot and I requested a fan and I received nothing. They kept telling me they will call maintenance. It was also loud. I’ve never had such a horrible experience in my life. I couldn’t sleep because there was no air circulating. I had to open the door and it still was too hot.

Needs updating from top to bottom. Bathroom tile falling apart. Furniture chipped and worn. Hallways with paint chipping and wallpaper falling. Pool was excellent along with center courtyard area. Very convenient for dining and shopping and getting anywhere you’d like in Buffalo. Front desk was young kids who weren’t terribly polite or helpful. Ben heard one cursing while guests waited to check in.

Nice stay. Great restaraunt/bar area. Indoor courtyard is nice with the pool. Clean rooms and facilities. A little outdated, but still comfortable. Thin walls. We had a couple next to us that kept us awake much of the night.

I gave this hotel a 2 out of 5 stars only for the condition of the room. The toilet seat was broken, the alarm clock and phone did not work (there were so many cords knotted up, I couldn't tell if they just weren't plugged in, but this should have been noticed and ready for guests), an outlet with a light did not work which reduced our lighting in the room (I tried to plug in my laptop and outlet didn't work), desk was not wiped (sticky substance on it), bathroom wall needed a good wiping, the room smelled of smoke (we reported it as its a non-smoking facility and didn't want to be charged/blamed), but also the smoke detector was hanging from wall (assuming previous guest disconnected it to smoke, but again, this should have been noticed by cleaning staff before another guest arrived). Staff were super friendly and helpful. Lobby and pool area/courtyard are beautiful. Halls/flooring in halls renovated/modern. Free hot buffet breakfast was a bonus and was pretty good. The rating is directly related to the condition of the room.
I loved the balcony, the view of the pool and the relaxing Christmas music that was playing.

The room was okay, the hotel too was okay. Arranging the airport shuttle on arrival was awful. Not knowing how it worked I messaged the hotel twice before leaving to find out how out it worked, to have no response to either. On arrival at the airport, I rang the hotel, only to be put on hold by reception for 20 minutes. They completely forgot they'd put me on hold. I had to hang up and ring again. Not impressive at all.
