Customer service was great

Ok

The hot water in my bathroom longer than 5 minutes to get warm. I had to let the water run a long time to get hot water. The pool was under repair when I got there. I think they should have made me aware of this when I checked in. I believe this hotel is gear more towards groups from the airline industry..

The hotel itself was clean, but the staff did not come to dump the garbage, give and take the old towels after they were used. Called multiple times and even visited the front desk to have these things taken care of.

I thought that the hotel was very clean and well run. My only negatives would be that one day the fire alarm kept going off throughout the day and this made it difficult on several fronts one being I was trying to work from my room and the fire alert system is a PA system where the management gives updates to all the guests and that could be heard through the PA system in my room. The other issue was twice when it went off I happen to be in lobby and it was just false alarms but it would Inactivate the Elevator system which meant having to walk up eight flights of stairs to get to my room again. The other thing that was a little bit disappointing was the pool and hot tub were closed for maintenance and after a long day at work I was looking forward to utilizing them. I did however get to use the gym which was clean and well stocked. I eat breakfast in the hotel restaurant two days of my stay and while the breakfast was a Buffay and adequate it was in my opinion overpriced and confusing because it seems like a lot of the guests have a voucher to eat breakfast for free but I was not offered that. I had dinner in the hotel restaurant one night and the burger was really good and the drinks were good as well.

I requested a room with a kind size bed and got a two room with to bed

Cleanliness

Blessing

Standard Marriott property, clean and well maintained. Front desk personnel friendly and efficient, smooth fast check-in

Hotel struggled, Had internet issues, broken elevator and even a stretch where credit card system wouldn’t work (during Sat breakfast on commencement weekend!). Health facility had sweaty benches and when I went to use the box of wipes and spray bottle, they were both empty. Right next to the poster that advertised “we proudly use Lysol products to keep hotel clean and safe”. And I was only in the hotel for 2 days!!

Horrible staff

The hotel was confidently located to my other destinations and meetings.

The staff during check-in was horrible, I was charged an early check-in fee when I arrived after 3 Pm. after getting to the room the tv didn't work, I called the front desk who informed me a tech was coming. After an hour of no tech, I went back downstairs to get another room, this agent put me in a room but did not activate the key. I had to take my luggage back downstairs to get another room. Thank goodness neither of the female agents was there so I finally got into my room. Both agents on duty around 3 pm on April 4th, 2021 was Latina & African American. This is not a racist complaint, I am African American, these women snickered at the guests and were intentionally NOT helpful. They belong at Budget 8, not Marriott, unprofessionalism should never be tolerated especially during this Pandemic.
