El Rancho Motel

An very nice, older motel

In an older motel the rooms as small but this one was recently redone and very clean. Even more impressive to me was the outdoor patio with picnic tables and bar-b-ques. It encouraged people to leave their rooms and to enjoy the outdoors which is wonderful in Wyoming. Pets are welcome, and my Beagle also loved the place.

The Longhorn Ranch Lodge and RV Resort

Nice hotel close to mountains

We came in late and the office was closed but our key and room info was left in the late arrival box. The room was clean and spacious. It was quiet. The breakfast was a little small but the basics were there. Staff was friendly.

Paintbrush Inn Thermopolis

Low priced cozy comfort

While this was the lowest price hotel in town during this visit, it was a very pleasant experience. The Paintbrush Inn is modest, but well maintained. The decor was very Jersey Shore with lighthouse and shell motifs, which I found charming and nostalgic being from Jersey. When I commented the owner informed me her husband was from NJ and enjoyed that style. A great feature was the fridge, microwave and coffee maker. In my room was a cupboard with real glasses and bowls and cutlery which was perfect to enjoy a libation and a snack with proper table settings. Bed was extremely comfy and I had a refreshing sleep. No complaints whatsover. Will likely stay here again as I try to get to Thermopolis to take the waters at least once per summer season.
