Candlewood Suites Buffalo - Amherst

Staff at this hotel are always warm & welcoming. The hotel is about halfway between the shops on Transit Road and the Boulevard Mall. Although there are hotels closer to these locations, I've often returned to Candlewood Suites because of the friendly helpful staff and the clean, comfortable rooms.

Hotel was great; however, I wish we knew ahead of time that they only clean rooms once a week.

We stayed here and drove to Niagara Falls. It is a convenient alternative to expensive rooms at Niagara Falls. You get a full kitchen that makes it very convenient if you like to make your own breakfast.

room was pretty clean with all the basic amenities.

Would have liked a pool and breakfast included.

I was very happy with my stay check in/out was no hassle. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The room was great (a bit smaller than expected) but overall it has everything as promised. Had everything I needed, Full size fried, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, extra. It was a mini home away from home. Close to losts of restaurants, shops and not a far drive from Niagara Falls . Loved it.

the staff was friendly until we asked for service then they were rude and would not make eye contact the rest of our stay. the room was dirty and I asked that someone clean it. they did not even mop the kitchen floor, even after I told them the people before had spilled something. the sheets had not been changed either!! they finally came in on Wednesday and changed the sheets and gave us new towels. also the fridge ran all day/night, and the toilet was broken and they did not send someone to even look at it much less fix it!! I would like a refund!!!!!!!!!

Brand new hotel and super clean. Good size room with HD TV, dvd player, kitchen, nicely furnished and decorated. Kitchen has full size fridge, stove top, microwave, dishwasher, dishes, pot and pans. Complimentary laundry room and dvd movies are also available. Great customer service! I would definitely stay here again.

The place is minutes away from any kind of restaurant that you can imagine. Next to grocery stores and Target and everything else. Works great since they have a small kitchen(equipped enough) in the room. The room was spacious even with 2 queen beds.

Since the hotel was only 6 weeks old, it was nice that everything was new. However, since this was a suite complete with kitchen, there was a mildly offensive food odor that just lingered in the room and was still there the next morning. It could have been a little cleaner - the computer desktop area needed washing and a drawer front in the bathroom had toothpaste drips on it. These are just little things and had we mentioned it I am sure the staff would have accommodated us. The snack shop was very nice and we did enjoy the free use of DVD's.

Hotel was excellent. Hotel sign located away from the main road, got lost in the PARKING LOT!

We travel on motorcycles, and hotel ammenities are very important. The laundry facilities were great!! Not coin operated. The staff was extremely helpful. The rooms were spotless. Would highly recommend this property.

The hotel is built new and has great amenities given the fact that it is a suite kind. We chose the room with the roll-in shower without knowing that the water would spill out of the shower a lot; making the bathroom a little messy.

Hotel was very new. Nice to have kitchen with full-size refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, stove, and microwave. Room was very generously sized and included a recliner, desk chair, and additional chair. Housekeeping is only offered weekly, so you must make your own bed and keep room tidy on your own. Exercise room was on premises with several machines. The hotel was very convenient to the Univ. of Buffalo North Campus, as well as our family in the area. Mall located less than 1 mile away for shopping.
