Residence Inn by Marriott Arundel Mills BWI Airport

have stayed here several times for business. has always been quiet at night, and front desk has always been helpful. breakfast and coffee in the morning is a plus and the staff are extremely helpful and nice....

It is right next to the Anne Arundel Mall. So it is convenient to use restaurants and shops in the mall. Hotel offers decent warm breakfast. They have social nights on M, Tu, Wed with tacos, Italian sandwiches and desserts respectively so that you don't really need to go out for dinner on Monday and Tuesday. There is a decent gym allowing 24/7 access. There is a hotel free shuttle that will take you anywhere within a 5 mile radius, to include a ride from the airport. The suite is spacious enough for long stay with cooking utensils. We stayed for 5 weeks and enjoyed it.

The hotel is in a great location: close to the airport and across the street from a great mall, with a ring of shops and restaurants around it. 5 stars. The hotel is old, with an old noisy a/c and old noisy fridge. And it doesn't insulate out the sounds of the passing airplanes, or the guests on the other floors very well. 3 stars. It has the nicest lobby and breakfast buffet of any low-level Marriott chain. 5 stars. The room was not clean. At all. It smelled of dogs the instant we walked in. When we called, the front desk said the previous guest did not have a dog and had been here for two dog smell was impossible. But there were a lot if visible dog hairs on the floor and furniture, and even some dirty socks protruding from under the couch. So they said they'd send someone right up to clean. We went out for two hours, and when we returned no one had come. We called again...twice...and someone finally cleaned out most if the hair and smell. The night manager said they were full, but someone would call the next day so we could change rooms. No one called. When we arrived back in our room at about 2:00pm, our room hadn't been cleaned yet. So we called and went out, again. When we came back? Nope, still not clean at 5:30. So now I'm thinking that when they said no dog had stayed there for two weeks, they were telling the truth: they hadn't actually cleaned in at least two weeks. Someone finally came (with an attitude) and cleaned, so I'll give them 1 star. In over 100 Marriott stays, it's only my second negative experience, and my first with a filthy room. But I'm a little concerned about this particular hotel, as no one seemed surprised or bothered that it was so dirty. In fact, Housekeeping directed our questions to the Front Desk, and the Front Desk directed them guessed it...Housekeeping. And, yeah, I still smell the dog.

My family and I stayed here for 3 nights. The hotel is centrally located at Arundel Mills Mall, the airport, and interstate. They provide an array of breakfast items, hot and cold. Coffee is available throughout the day and they also provide complimentary shuttle service to and from the mall.

We arrived at 2 am due to a massive delayed flight. They staff arranged for our transportation from the airport and made sure we were able to eat after traveling for 8 hours. They were responsive to our Marriott texts via the app to all questions we had and any small needs like extra towels. We have stayed here previously three times but this visit was the best. As a Marriott Platinum member, I could not have asked for any better. Thank you team AM!

This hotel is super nice. The rooms are suites and are very spacious. Nice flat screen TV, good furniture and bed. Bathroom is good. Granite counter tops in kitchnette and bathroom area. The housekeeping personnel come at suitable time and do an excellent job. The breakfast is great. You can literally just walk to the Arundel Mills Mall. The only thing I did not like was an old pool table with cloth torn and pockets tore apart and the cue sticks have no tips, making it useless to play pool. This hotel is in a quiet corner.

I have hesitated to write this review because I was so disappointed and shocked at the shape and condition of the beds and linen in each of the 2-2bedroom units that we were placed in. My last visit here about 3 years ago was fine. The Marriott brand has always ensured an exemplary stay. Sadly, we had to leave this facility and ended up at their superior, clean, sanitary property in National Harbor, MD. Although staff tried to make things right, it is disgraceful to find unsanitary issues in 2 successive 2 bedroom units. The saving grace in all of this is that the Marriott employees on the front desk were extremely professional, very helpful and tried their upmost to correct an obvious issue that would have been better suited for housekeeping to have ensured some type of quality improvement/management. It is truly sad though that one has to write a negative review since for over 20 years of Marriott stays, I have never encountered any problems with sanitation in any Marriott properties here or abroad. This was truly disappointing.

Everything about this hotel from the people, to the rooms, to the breakfast were absolutely fantastic! The room was huge and very clean. The bed and pillows were so comfortable. The bathroom was large and immaculate. The breakfast choices changed each day I was there. It was one of the best hotel breakfasts I've ever had. In addition to the same stuff that most hotels have, they had fresh spinach for eggs, sooooo many toppings for waffles or oatmeal (3 different types of syrup, 2 different kinds of nuts, chocoalate chips AND Nutella, several types of fruit, coconut, etc., etc.) They also had fresh fruit and brie cheese. They had so many different options of food and drink, you just couldn't get bored with their offerings. The breakfast area was kept clean and well stocked, and the best part, had MORE than enough seating (unlike a lot of hotels). It's hard to come up with any negatives about this hotel. But there are only two things I had a problem with (and they are TINY). One is that there is no overhang to load your car. Which I probably wouldn't have thought of, except I had to load the car in the rain. Second, they had a beautiful looking outdoor area with a firepit and outdoor fireplace, but during the time I was there it was not clean and the cushions for the seating were all askew. Too bad, because I would have liked to spend some time out there. It looked peaceful. All in all, I hated to leave this hotel because we moved on to two other hotels that were PITS in comparison to the Residence Inn.

Great Hotel and great housekeeping service on the third floor provided an outstanding experience. The hotel is close to shopping , restaurants and the airport as well as close to Baltimore and Washington DC . Minus the fire drill at 12 a.m. on Sunday night, this was a five star stay.

Love the space of the Residence Inn Suites. Wish we could have stayed longer. Sunday breakfast included our fave Sunday treats plus waffles which we enjoyed making. The reception staff provided great directions to Inner Harbor using the hotel's airport shuttle and light rail. It made our day. We would stay here again.
