Only complaints i could make are the hallways need carpet fixed. They were wrinkled, posing a trip hazard. Bathroom was large, shower was large and had tile seat. Water pressure and showerhead may be the worst I've used. But everything else was fine. Accompany pets nicely. My shih tzu loved it. He looked out the windows which had built-in dresser drawers, fridge, microwave and office space in my suite. My wife had no complaints. Room was really spacious. Workers are friendly. I didnt dine, but i saw they had a thanksgiving buffett. Bar and restaurant look nice and had some guy playing music saturday night. I'd book here again!

Attended a professional conference, staying the nite before. Very quiet and comfortable room. The conference area was also comfortable. I ate lunch in the hotel -- food was hot and tasty & wait staff were obviously experienced at serving many people in a relatively short time frame. It was a most pleasant experience!

I had reservations for 2 days when the temperature was 90 one day and 100 the next. I was given a room that had a broken AC. I reported it to the front desk. They never fixed it.The next day, I was given another room with an apology from the staff. The room was very nice. I was then given a bill for the rooms which were already paid for. Again, an apology from the staff for the mistake. I will think very hard before I stay at this hotel again.

We visited the resort as a weekend getaway. The initial room that was assigned was nice, but a loud baby next door was interfering with our relaxation. I brought the problem to the attention fo the desk manager who rectified the situation by providing another room that was an upgrade and in a quiet area. Both rooms were clean and hotel staff was very eager to fix the issue. We found the food served at the in house restaurant to be very good. Room service food was a bit less than perfect, but fine overall. My wife enjoyed the spa services and rated them very high compared to other experiences. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and have already talked about returning.

Aside from the fact that the hotel did not have our reservation and said they had no room for us at 1am in the morning, they did eventually come up with a room since we had aleady paid through [...]. That part was very frustrating. Not sure who was to blame the hotel or [...]. Our room was quite comfortable and the staff generally friendly and helpful. Room service was very economical, fast and quite good!

Stayed at the Turf Valley while visiting Old Town Ellicott City. The Hotel was more than we expected. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the room was large and well kept. We will be back here again.

Good golf.

The price we paid was not what we got. It was at a great location with the golf course and a huge pool. There were a lot of kids there. I guess a great family location, not for couples.

Front desk staff was not very welcoming. Room AC very noisy, nightlight in bathroom hallway too bright.

were on our way to Johns Hopkins from Ohio - after a long day of traveling, we were just looking for a quiet place to get a good night's rest before moving our son into his dorm the next day. Instead we got very little sleep due to the extremely loud air conditioning unit in our room - It was like an alarm clock going off every 20-min. when the unit cycled on/off - and the noise while it ran was like a vibrating jet engine. I dont think it was just our room either, because I could hear the noise from another unit during the brief time our unit was quiet. NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!

Grounds and building are lovely; room was nice size. The desk person was annoyed that my inexpensive reservation allowed a queen sized bed and put us in a handicapped room at the very end of the hotel even though the hotel was comparatively empty. The room was dark--not enough lamps--and the windows were very dirty, but the bed was comfortable. This hotel could easily be a 4 star or more, with just a little effort. There was free internet, a "lounge" with 2 computers and a printer available at all hours. The refrigerator in that lounge was open with soft drinks but it was not filled. The hotel was clean and nice but did not go the extra distance. I am not sure why.
