Upon arriving I had to wait to check in. When checking in I was not told about extra expenses on top of the $265 payment for room. The lady checking me in was not friendly. I had to ask for a luggage cart to transport my belongings. It was not offered. No bell hop to help with this. My self and my friend are both handicap. She relys on a walker. No help offered. Got to room . Was nice but not over the top for the price I paid. I could have went to the Hilton down the street and paid half for the same or better room. Missing shampoo in shower. Took 25 min to get hot water in the shower and sink in bathroom. Asked for late check out was told 11:30????? We carted our belongings to the lobby. Then a man comes up to my friend that was standing with our cart on her wheelchair asking if she needed help to her room. She asked if someone needed our luggage cart. He said no he was there to help us. He was the first and only person who asked if two handicap people needed help. When I was explaining at check out I was looked at like I was speaking a foreign language. No apologies no nothing. They did not utter a single word. I left. I left feeling discriminated against. I was leaving to go be in my friend of 33 yrs wedding. I should have left feeling happy and ready to celebrate.
