Located in a nice area and near a large mall and casino. However, it is a LONG walk to either of those even if you see them from your hotel room. Best to drive or take free shuttle. HOWEVER, shuttle bus process is convoluted and needs improvement. At other hotels you request shuttle, wait in the lobby and when driver arrives they come inside and announce 'shuttle going to X'. Here, if you don't wait outside, shuttle bus leaves without you as no announcements are made. (Shuttles only run 'by request', so why would you leave without the party you were asked to pickup????) Pickup from airport used freeway that had a big traffic jam, so took nearly an hour to get to hotel (seems driver would have noticed while driving to pick us up at airport). Return trip to airport (different driver) used back roads and got us to airport in under 10 minutes. He said he never uses freeway, too much traffic !!! Typical pickup wait time is 15-20 minutes (which is fine), but when we called for pickup from casino back to hotel, they said bus was already there and wouldn't wait 2-3 minutes for us to walk to the pickup area. Very frustrated with using the shuttle bus.

Excellent staff, excellent breakfast, convenient to food and fun

It was our first Stay at this hotel, I got a great deal and it was very convenient and centralized to all of the areasons activities, and has a 24hr complementary shuttle to the airport, restaurants, shopping mall, casino and movie theatre.

This hotel is within walking distance to Arundel Mills Mall. They offered a gym, in room movies and provided free breakfast. We were given an handicap room which concerned me since we are not handicap. Right off the elevator and spacious-very nice. We requested another room to be accommodating to anyone in need, but was refused. Not really sure why? If this is a policy, it really should be looked at. Handicap rooms should be readily available to those in need. I'm just saying

The only disappointment was that we were not allowed to put a cot in the room you booked.

Basic overnight stay. It was pleasant and had all the amenities you would expect. The wifi was not working. Nothing exceptional, but nothing extremely bad either. I would stay again.

I have very much enjoyed my stays at previous hampton hotels and this one was not any different. I had trouble when trying to get into my room with not being able to get the door open upon arrival. I went back to the front desk and the staff was very helpful and courteous in helping me with opening my door explaining remodeling had just been completed on the hotel and they were experiencing difficult. the hotel and my room were very clean and comfortable. the location is an excellent location if you are needing to be by the airport or want to do some shopping at the arundel mills mall. the complimentary breakfast is very basic. Free parking was also a great perk. Overall I would highly recommended this hotel to anyone.

Although I had a brief stay with this hotel I can say I'm very pleased with with all it had to offer, also the casino is less than 5 min away. What more could you ask for!?

Stayed one night to get to BWI.. Room was clean.. Staff was good... Great location with mall right next to it.. Will be booking again for the end of July!!!

Hotel is a bit dated but in a great location next to the mall and casino.

We were very pleased with our stay at the Hampton Inn & Suites. It was very close to major highways, which made it easily accessible and the mall was just across the street. There were several restaurants, including a sports bar, seafood and Italian, that were really close to choose from. We were visiting Annapolis and did not mind the 17 mile drive to Dock St. We found the staff to be very friendly and the complimentary hot breakfast was very nice.

We experienced a problem with our reservation but was handled in a very professional manner. The manager provided us with an upgrade to a king sized room to accommodate a roll-away bed. We appreciate their flexibility to make our stay a wonderful experience.

Hotel is located in a prime location. adjacent to the all and casino. They have a shuttle that will take you where you ever you want to go. The only negative was the elevators were extremely hot. they need to either have a switch that shuts the lights off when the elevator is not in use.

Close to everything ! Lots to do after work. Plenty of restaurants near hotel !

We go to the mall and the casino. The shuttle drivers are nice and timely.Desk personal are helpful and friendly. We will stay there again.

We were there for a family reunion and found the hotel to be very comfortable. Its very close to things to do for a family trip.

Was in town for the Capitol Jazz Festival. Never stayed in Maryland before and read some not too nice comments about the Hampton Inn Arundel, but to my surprise, I took a chance and the room was really nice, they offered complimentary breakfast. Of course it was Continental, better than most it had a small assortment of hot food, eggs, potatoes, sausage. Wish we had more time to check out the surrounding area. There was also a couple of chain restaurants less than a 1/2 mile away. I would definetely stay at this hotel again and recommend it.

Perfect location to all kinds of fun. We really enjoyed our stay and the breakfast the next morning was a wonderful way to send us off.

Stay was great and in a great easy to find location. Walking distance to the mall for shopping, entertainment and eats. Room VERY nice displayed well. Had a king size bed was good size for me and my fiancee without the baby for once. Only bad thing is the bed was hard. We both woke up with cramped necks and sore back. We have a tempurpedic at home so we are used to the bed at home.

The hotel was in great condition. Nicely decorated. The rooms were spacious and clean. Breakfast was superb with lots of options. The location was convienent to the beltway, shopping, and restaurants.
