The staff was friendly and the room was very nice. However, I had flown into Atlanta for a job interview at 0900 the next day, checked into my room at about 5 PM, and no problems at all...... UNTIL 2 AM. At about 2 AM, the air conditioning unit outside my window began to clatter and buzz so loudly that I was instantly awakened. When the noise did not abate after about 30 minutes, I called the front desk. The front desk was courteous, but was unable to put me into another room due to being sold out. I was informed that nobody was available to shut down or repair the malfunctioning unit until 7 AM the next day. Bottom line, I only slept about 2 or 3 hours that night and was wrecked the next day at my job interview. When I complained at the front desk the next morning after struggling to get less than 3 hours of sleep, no type of compensation was offered. Unacceptable for a hotel that sells itself as a business traveler destination. This was my first time at a HIE, and I will not return to a Holiday Inn Express. Too much money spent and only 2 hours of sleep

music blaring out front by the lobby...all night. why would the hotel pipe music out front like that??? Room very noisy right in front of cafe and adjacent to lobby. If that's the only room left, then please let guest know - surprises are a sure way to disappoint.

Very nice hotel. The bed is right next to the hvac unit and so controlling the temp without being too cold was difficult but it was very clean and comfortable. Would stay there again.

I had a 12 hr lay over in ATL due to flight issue, long story short. Andy at the Holiday Inn Express was wonderful he had all paperwork done, room key ready upon my arrival no questions ask it was smooth as chocolate pudding. Plus the room was super clean and nice, lobby well kept an the dining area for breakfest was clean as well. I would totally stay here again. In Austell that is. Thanks have a sunny day.

Hilton hotels have always been clean, cozy and comfortable. Had to call the front desk because of loud television in the next room, the problem was taken car of immediately, very pleased with the service.

I stayed for two nights on a business trip. I arrived in town earlier than expected and the staff accommodated my request for an early check in beautifully. The room was spacious and very clean. My only complaint is that the continental breakfast wasn't great. Could have been easily perked up with a nice fruit salad and a double check to make sure the hot food was still nice and hot and that breads were still fresh. So that was disappointing, but the price was right and the room itself was very nice.

1.Upon arrival our room was not ready although our room was pre-paid in full [...]. The manager did not allow us to have breakfast that morning. My husband and I traveled throughout the world and this is the time we were denied this ammenity.2. The manager did not offer to store our luggage until our suite was ready. Therefor we had to carry our luggage with us another 5 hours until our suite was available for us to check in. Other hotels we used in our travels allowed us to store our luggage in a locked room until our accommadations are avilable. We were shocked by the managers lack of customer service skills. 3. The lighting was very poor in our suite, we were unable to read without straining our eyes in the deemly lit room. On our second day we called the manager and requested another lamp, we were told each living room area only has one lamp, although there were two end tables in the living room area. I called and insisted we needed another lamp and on the 4th day the manager finally complied with our request.

Overall it was very nice. Only complaint was that the bath linens were sour (as if they say in the washers for days) Otherwise the hotel was nice, newish, and clean.

My wife and I were there to, attend my brother's awards program. Also, while here we had the opportunity to spend a day with our grand kids. This trip was short but fun, lot of joy. The hotel is great and I will stay there again but I'll make sure they don't put me on the 4th floor which is the basement. Hotel has a good breakfast and cookies at check in. The location for our visit was super.

The staff was very nice an the breakfast was really good

This hotel is new and run very well. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The continental breakfast was above average and the food was fresh and plentiful. This location was very close to my kids and new grandson. This was a big plus. When returning at night, we were treated to extras such as fresh cookies and water. Free .... I would highly recommend this property as a great place to stay.

The hotel is new and the only one in the area. It was very close to where we were visiting. There are several restaurants in the area and a movie theatre across the street.

My family of 6 just spent 2 wonderful nights at this hotel. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. When we arrived, our room was not quite ready so they immediately put is in another room. They provided us with a basket full of snacks which the kids loved. The hotel was very clean and still had that "new" smell. It was in a very nice location--we were about 15 minutes from Turner Field and about 10 minutes from Six Flags. The complimentary breakfast bar was amazing--everything from delicious cinnamon rolls to bacon and eggs to cereal. I would highly recommend this hotel to everyone. It was a great place to stay at a great price!

Dear Guest, Thank you for your feedback. I am so sorry that you had noise come from your ac unit at 2AM in the morning. I know I would be frustrated as well if I only got 3 hours of sleep before my interview. We failed to meet your expectation and I sincerely apologize that your experience was not excellent. I will be speaking to my staff in regards to this matter. It is unfortunate that we do not have the opportunity to change your mind about staying with Holiday Inn Express in the future. We are a great brand and I would hope that you would give us another chance on your future accommodations. Regards, Leslie- GM
