All was ok but I would like to comment on the incidentials draw on my credit card. I was told the was not actually charged and would clear immediately upon check out. This is not true. My card was charged the full amount and when I called to inquire, I was told the would be reimbursed in 5-7 days. I do not agree with this process. Previously, credit cards were on hold IN CASE OF INCIDENTIALS and not actually charged. I will avoid this in my booking of a hotel choice in the future. I am a HILTON HONORS customer. Thank you.

The room heater was loud and blasted air directly at the bed. We ended up being charged 75$ for a pet fee when the website stated it was supposed to $50. Will be calling the manager to get this corrected but hotel/expedia misrepresented the fee.

This is a great place to stay to the airport in Richmond. There is a courtesy shuttle to pick you up at the airport and to return you to the airport at the end of your stay. The room was spacious and clean. The checkin process was seamless. The breakfast bar was delicious a Clean.

Shower head just dribbles out water. Heater did not work and room stayed at 63 no matter what I did. Hotel is very outdated. Carpet, wall coverings and finishes are beat up. In every aspect of the hotel it needs attention. Just not a clean fresh Hilton property. Second worse Hampton Inn property I have stayed in. I’m a Hilton. Honor member and stay in Hilton hotels weekly for work. Very sad franchisee.

No one was at the desk on arrival at around 7 pm. When they finally came back after 10-15 minutes, the desk person did not greet us or other guests or apologize for the delay.Also, I was not expecting a parking charge, which should have been clear when the reservation was made on Expedia. I wouldnt mind so much if the receptionist had been friendly, but then when we handed him the card, it came up as $100 with no explanation...I had to ask if this was correct and why $100. I felt he should have explained in advance that this was a hold and would be returned. He handed the key...no direction to the elevator or room. No thank you...nothing. Definitely not a pleasant experience. Later in the evening when we came back through, he was still there. No greeting or facial expression. Not the best person for the position! And coffee was not hot this morning at breakfast... Im usually very pleased with Hampton Inn, but won't choose this one again. There are plenty of others here by this airport. We have family within a mile of here and are here several times a year. We will choose another hotel next time and will not recommend this one to family!
