Embassy Suites by Hilton Richmond

Hotel is under major renovations, big time construction zone. Very loud andall the hallways are lined in plastic. Bad smell. Only a few floors are open. Felt very weird and creepy. They probably should not be open during this process. I would not have stayed there if I had been notified at booking and can't believe it cost me 150$ for the night.

We stayed here to get away from my work and my local for a short weekend vacation. The hotel is nice. The suite is large with 2 separate rooms. One for me and my wife. The other for my 2 daughters. The room is clean but the furnitures are a little old. Front door and bathroom door are jammed so we had to use a little force to close and open. This made some noises at night when one of us had to use the bathroom. The staff are very nice and friendly.Breakfast is good (free). Evening reception with free drink is also excellent. The hotel is located along W Broad Street that is very convenient for us to go to the Vietnamese restaurants around there as well as going to the Short Pump mall. Definitely we will come back here.

Our stay was great. Friendly staff, room was clean and very comfortable. Will definitely stay here on our next trip to Richmond.

This was an excellent place to stay! It was not easy for me to find the location at night as it sits back off the road. Once I found it, I was very pleased! The manager reception at night was a nice touch! Breakfast the next morning was very filling & delicious! I would highly recommend this hotel! I will stay here again!

Business trip. Staff is very accommodating and pleasant. Hotel is close to everything. I try and stay there every time I am in town for business.

Stayed here for two nights after spending 3 nights in DC. Picked this hotel because it's an Embassy Suites and it was an hour from Monticello and 30 min. from family.

The Embassy Suites Hotel is in a great location, with close access to the highway and the main street in the city, Broad St. Great breakfast options with everything from fix to order omelets to chocolate covered donuts and fresh fruit and yogurt. The rooms are spacious with fridge and microwave, pull out sofa in the living area and two televisions. Plenty of parking, nice pool and great staff. Couldn't ask for any more.

Professional classes are held here, and I have stayed several times. It is a very nice hotel, with clean rooms and good food. Meeting rooms are great, and the staff is helpful and courteous. Always enjoy my experience here.

Clean rooms, comfortable for business travel and the breakfast and coffee in the morning is great!!!

The outside of the building looked appealing. Was impressed with rooms having inside entrances overlooking a beautiful courtyard. That view make the hotel look inviting. Inside the room on the other hand did not give me the "wow" I was expecting. Rooms most definitely need to be updated. Furniture seems old and was scratched, carpet fading. The staff was very courteous and polite though.

staff was wonderful; breakfast was delicious and the room was perfect. and the location was perfect

The atmosphere at the hotel was fantastic. Room was spacious and the staff very friendly

We were delighted with the reception and the delicious breakfast the next morning. The beds were extremely comfortable but the sofa bed was just ordinary. The Embassy Suites is a great place for a family of five! Thank you!

We stayed here not knowing it was at least 6 miles from the downtown area. However, we ended up getting there later than expected. The place was fantastic from the managers reception through brunch the next day. The staff is exceptional and they try to make your stay as seamless as possible. The only drawback is that it is not very close to the old Richmond downtown area. It ended up being a shorter stay than we expected but it was very enjoyable.

2-night stay @ the Embassy Suites for the 2013 Richmond Marathon. Getting to downtown Richmond was a breeze. Also close to major big box retailers if you accidentally left anything behind. Room was clean and the staff friendly. Breakfast buffet definitely stood out when compared to other hotel chains. The only negative remark I can make would be that it can be a bit loud due to the atrium. Definitely recommend and would stay again when it town.

Embassy Suites was wonderful! We've stayed there multiple times and really enjoy it! They offer free breakfast as well as mid-day snacks! They have a beautiful forest-themed lobby and an indoor pool and hot tub as well as a sauna and fitness center.

It was in a wonderful location with excellent service amenities and customer service. Loved the food, cocktail hour and the workout facility and pool. The staff was very friendly and eager to help.

Stayed in hotel 1 night taking my daughter to visit University of Virginia and University of Richmond. Perfectly located; rooms seemed recently renovated. Front desk was very accomodating and breakfast was quite good

I was in town to visit the U of R law school and stayed at Embassy Suites Richmond, just a few miles away. It's a very nice hotel. The staff was attentive and checked my in quickly and efficently. The room was nice, clean, and well taken care of, in fact my only complaint was the veiw. My third floor windoe looked only onto the roof of the banqueting section. Well worth the money for the stay.

We were very pleased with our stay. The value was great, the breakfast buffet was exceptional. We did not attend the manager's reception, but what we saw looked very nice. We swam in the pool and used the hot tub. Enjoyed the large suite with micro wave, refrigerator, and 2 tv's. All in all we thought for the money it was a great, great value.
