The room was uninhabitable, as far as we were concerned. The tub was covered in mold, doors were hanging off cupboards and there was rotting food in the refrigerator when we arrived. We left after seeing our room and did not stay here and Orbitz very thankfully refunded my account.
My room had lock issues from the start but management assured me the fixed them. When I checked in, my "fresh" blanket had cigarette burns on it. During my time there we had cockroaches visit our room daily. And that broken lock that was fixed? Well on my last day there I returned after being gone all day to find my door was completely open to anyone, lock fully broken. Manager spent 2 hours replacing it as I tried to eat my dinner while holding my dog as he worked on it for 2 hours with the door open. He said it was all fixed. I woke up to find out that new lock was also broken and anyone could have accessed my room all night. I have pictures and videos I will be submitting to corporate. I always stay at this location when I go to RVA so I am highly disappointed and grossed out by its current condition.

Old beaten room with leaking toilets. All the fittings are rusted. Bathroom exhaust doesn’t work. The rooms need some serious repairs.
We originally paid for the room for 3 days but checked out early. The shower was dirty. We tried to use the pull out sofa and found dirty socks and a debit card in it, no sheets. The key card took several tries to works, every single time. There was a blood stain on the carpet and the cover for the a/c unit was gone. There were cigarette burns all over the bathroom counter in a non smoking room and the toilet needed to be flushed 2-3 times. The faucet was mounted so far back that you couldn't get both hands under it to wash them. But, there was good water pressure and it was also hot. The staff was pleasant to us. The bed was comfortable and there were plenty of places for clothing, a big fridge and a little bar to eat. Upon returning to the room one day we saw the manager arguing in the parking lot with a guest. I was then approached by the guest and his friend. He told me the manager wanted to kick them out because I complained about them smoking (outside) and being loud. Apparently they had the room next to ours. If I didn't complain about a dirty shower and the fact our shoes stuck to the linoleum floors when we walked on it, why would I complain about neighboring guests smoking? I didn't. He should have taken responsibility for whatever real reason he wanted to kick them out. Instead of putting us in an uncomfortable situation with the people next to us. We packed up and checked out.
Given a non smoking hotel, the first room smelled of heavy smoke. I did get another room and did not smell like smoke until the next am when could smell it coming from bathroom vent. Bath water did not get hot so showering had to be quick and the area needed a deep cleaning especially the shower curtain. Slept comfortably and convenient to shopping and local eats.
I continue to stay here but I love it here. The people, the staff, my privacy. I do pay 400 a week but it's better than going anywhere else
you get what you pay for. Stayed here for one night on the road, room on ground level had super sticky floors, no water pressure or hot water, furniture showing extreme wear including stains and tears. Nice front desk staff.
IT WAS HORRIBLE HOOD ISH ALL DAY MY HEAT WAS BROKE I GOT THE WRONG KEY ME AND DAUGHTER FREEZING COULDNT GET THE FRONT DESK THEN CALLED CUSTOMER SERVICE AND WAS TOLD CALL BACK MON-FRI OMG HORRIBLE AND THE PEOPLE LIVING THERE WERE RATCHET
I like how I am not bothered and the ladies at the front desk and beautiful and sweet. Love my stay. Price is kinda high but it's worth the privacy.

This property is gross. The floors were filthy, tub disgusting, just yuck. The guy who was working was nice enough to come vacuum and wipe up the floor in the kitchenette area. Their was hair all over the shower and it was brown and moldy. Not worth it! The bed was okay, and sheets seemed clean I was praying the whole time though. The saying is true you get what you pay for.
Very dirty room, especially since all this pandemic stuff is going on. It almost seemed like the room was never cleaned except for the bed being made. There was dried urine And pubic hairs all over the bathroom. They would only give us one key card and they limited access to work-fi to one device at a time.
They gave away one of our reserved (and paid for) rooms. We arrived and had to find another place. Not what you're hoping for after a long day of travel.
